Návrh tematické turistické trasy v mikroregionu Kahan

This bachelor thesis deals with a suggestion of a theme-based walking trail for tourists. The goal of this thesis is to design a trail for a tourist educational nature trail in the Kahan microregion, based in the topic of a novel Pohádka máje, to design supporting materials and estimate the price of construction of the walking trail. The trail and its target group were designed in cooperation with the Kahan microregion. The preconditions of local tourism in the Kahan microregion were stated, the existing educational nature trails of the Kahan microregion were mapped and SWOT analysis of the suggestion was carried out. The result is a suggestion of the trail „Travels to Vilém and Helenka“ as well as information leaflet drafts and a worksheet. The conclusion offers possible options for future redesign of the trail and includes the estimated price of the construction of the route.
Návrh naučné a turistické stezky na ostrově Sokotra

The thesis focuses on designing an educational trail and tourist routes on the island of Socotra. The educational trail is located in the forest of dragon's blood trees (Dracaena cinnabari) on the Firmihin plateau. The route is approximately 6 km long with an elevation gain of 300 m. Ten information boards have been designed to describe the dragon's blood trees and the environmental issues affecting this area. The information provided includes issues such as land degradation, erosion, climate change and its impacts, inhibition of natural tree regeneration, and how local people influence this ecosystem. The same topics are also described in a 24-page brochure created in both Czech and English. Additionally, four tourist routes have been proposed in the work, which are color-coded, with three located in the Haggeher Mountains and one in the Homhil area. Information on the educational trail and tourist routes is also provided through the ArcGIS StoryMaps web platform.
Monitoring ohrožených druhů v přírodní rezervaci Uhliska a využití lokality pro vzdělávání a cestovní ruch

The diploma thesis is devoted to the mapping of endangered animal species in the Uhliska nature reserve. The theoretical part deals with the description of plant and animal species from the point of view of taxonomy and bionomy. In the practical part, I focus on monitoring the occurrence of endangered species of spotted bluebird and marsh bluebird. The result of the monitoring will be graphs with the occurrence of individual species, the representation of the sexes of butterflies and the occurrence of the host plant of the bloodsucker toten. In the second part, the questionnaire examines public awareness of this area, attendance and satisfaction with information about this area. In the second part of the questionnaire, the thesis examines the satisfaction of the respondents with the cooperation of the municipality and the Department of the Environment, or a potential agreement with the introduction of hypotourism in the area.
Leisure time and outdoor activities among students of grammar school in Prague 3.

Title: Leisure time and outdoor activities among students of grammar school in Prague 3. Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out what activities students include in their free time and whether they also engage in outdoor activities. Methods: The research sample consisted of 84 high school students aged 17-19 from a six- year grammar school in Prague. In order to obtain the necessary information, a questionnaire was compiled, which was intended for fifth and sixth grade students. The questionnaire consisted of 17 questions and I sent it out via electronic communication. The obtained data were analyzed using basic statistical methods and subsequently interpreted through graphs. Results: I found, that students most often spend their free time meeting friends (96 %), followed by a walk or a trip (93 %), then use their free time for social networking (89 %) or sports (86 %). 50 % spend most time hiking in nature. This is followed by activities such as running (15 %), cycling (14 %) or camping (10 %). Organised forms of leisure time activities are used by (45%).(82%) of students are satisfied with their leisure time and its content, (45 %) do not feel any limitation in the way they choose activities for their leisure time. Sports clubs in Lipno

The work is based on finding out information, history, scope and activities of individual selected sports clubs in the form of interviews with respondents. These clubs are located in a very interesting and tourist-rich location, which was the reason for the creation of the mentioned clubs. This locality is referred to as Lipno.
Leisure time during the First Republic from the cultural history point of view

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of leisure time during the first Czechoslovak republic, is in the 1920s and 1930s. It is based on approaches and knowledge of cultural history. In its introductory part, it provides an overview of basic terms, from the concept of leisure time to the concept of cultural history. The main goal of this work is to show and describe given contents of a free time during the first republic, especially related to the stay in nature and care of a human body. The following chapters cover these topics: travelling, tourism, scouting, tramping, summer apartments, spas and sport organizations.
Sušice, the Gate of Šumava Mountains. Development and Promotion of Tourism in the Region of Sušice in years 1918-1938

This thesis deals with the topic of development and promotion of tourism in the region of Sušice in years 1918 - 1938. It expands the field of research of the author´s bachelor thesis Activities of the Club of Czech Tourist in years 1890 - 1914. Firstly, three big building projects of the Club are observed: construction of Klostermann´s chalet in Modrava and chalet in Prášily, as well as the re-erection of Svatobor´s view tower. The following part focuses on the development of the possibilities of transport in the region: trains, regular and occasional tourist buses and cars. Marked tourist paths for walking are also considered. Later it´s examined whether the centre of the region - the town Sušice - conforms to the typical depiction of a summer resort. Main steps making the locality more attractive for tourists are explored. The changes in numbers of visitors in Sušice from the second half of 1920s are outlined. In the next part the author analyses the vacationers from the summer 1930 in social and vocational terms. The last part compares guidebooks and other promotional materials and based on them enquires, whether the presentation of town Sušice in the interwar period diverges from the end of the 19th century. The topic of nationalism is omnipresent in the whole thesis.
Hippotourism in Central Bohemian Uplands

Title: Hippotourism in České Středohoří (Central Bohemian Uplands) Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to survey the offer of service in territory of České středohoří (Central Bohemian Uplands) Methods: This study is comparing opinions and experiences of 3 woman, who is included in hippotourism in this area. They were answering to the half- structured interview. The second part of study was fasted on inquiry of service in horse tourism. Respondents were answering to short questionary with closed answers. This questionary was based on possibilities and satisfaction with momentarily services in this area. Results: It was found that all interviewed stables are offering horseback riding for beginners and advanced riders. One of the stables offers also mediation of veterinary and farrier services. Another offered service in all stables is stabling itself, in boxes or in a grazing form. Two of the stable owners offer accomodation in apartments, third owner offers camping in tents or in the open-air. All stable owners and also 9 of 15 respondents, would appreciate update of the maps of hippotouric routes in the Central Bohemian Uplands. Development and influence of tourism on the market price of real estate with a residential function in the city of Mikulov

This diploma thesis is focused on the development and influence of tourism on the market price of real estate with a residential function in Mikulov and then this effect is evaluated. Thesis is processed specifically for detached houses in Mikulov. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the basic concepts and definitions in the fields tourism and the real estate market. These terms are for example: real estate, building, detached house or tourism. In next part of theoretical part is about price and value, documents for real estate valuation. Next are defined valuation methods and factors, which affect the price of real estate. In the end of theoretical part are describe tourism and regression analysis, which is used to determine the impact of tourism on real estate prices in Mikulov. After the theoretical part, there is a problem situation, which then continues to process this problem. After this part is developed and evaluated influence of tourism on price of real estate with residential function. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of tourism in a tourist area on the market price of houses and the subsequent interpretation of the results, which were processed according to the chosen methodology.
