Introduction subject of present work is submerged, round, unconfined impinging air jet, which issues from a bell-shaped converging nozzle. The aim of the investigation is comparison of the different turbulent models proposed for the unsteady modelling of turbulent impinging air jet and model validation by hot-wire anemometry velocity measurements.
