The aim of this thesis is to revise known locations of maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba L.), tulip poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera L.) and European chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) in Hradec Králové and Pardubice regions (Eastern Bohemia). The sites reported from literature sources and herbarium specimens were revised and supplemented by data from my own field survey. Maidenhair tree, tulip poplar and European chestnut are introduced woody plants in the Czech republic. They are usually planted as ornamental trees in gardens of castle and a city parks. In sum, I found 37 places with 62 trees of maidenhair tree, 47 places with 47 trees of tulip poplar and 32 places with 37 of european chestnut growing there.

The aim of this thesis is to revise known locations of maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba L.), tulip poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera L.) and european chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) in the South Bohemian region. Some of these data was taken off of literature, herbarium and by my own research. The maidenhair tree, tulip poplar and european chestnut are introducted species of plants there in Czech Republic. This woody ornamentals act as extraordinary. These beautiful trees could be found growing in manor parks and city parks. Only minor part of them is in private gardens. In sum I found 40 places of maidenhair tree, 34 places of tulip poplar and 33 places of european chestnut myself.
