Impact of Renewable Energy Source Introduction on Energy System in the Czech Republic
Siuda, Jan ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Šolc, Pavel (referee)
This thesis analyse the impact of the renewable energy resources on the transmission and distribution networks in the Czech republic. The volatility changes based on the growth of the number of production places of this kind and other negative effects are being examined. The analysis has proved difficulties in transmission networks balance management and then problems with voltage quality supply by distribution companies. The international cooperation between transmission operators is also being analysed. This thesis proves that renewable resources and their implementation have significant economic impact not only within the meaning of higher production costs.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the principle and to evaluate the prospects of the new concept of electrical transmission and distribution networks Smart grids. This work deals with development and the three pillars of EU energy policy, the electricity market, problems in meeting targets in this area and the main challenges facing the EU. Smart Grid should be the solution to many current problems of the electricity market. In this work I try to explain how the whole system works, what technologies should be used and what benefits, respectively disadvantages would Smart Grid bring to producers, distributors and consumers of electricity energy.
