Design of a transformer station for power output from a PV power plant and a diesel generator
Marák, Jiří ; Procházka, Aleš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This thesis is about design of a transformation station for power output from both a photovoltaic power plant and a diesel generator, serving as grid support. The primary objective is to devise a comprehensive solution including conceptualization, grid connection point, and transformer specifications capable of handling the 5 MW power output from the PV plant and the 1000 kW output from the diesel generator, including the calculation of short-circuit conditions. Furthermore, the thesis delves into the design of network breakpoints and protective measures.Lastly, it proposes dispatch control and billing metering in accordance with the operational requirements stipulated by the distribution system operator.
Conceptual design of the reconstruction of an E.ON 22 kV distribution network installed at a specic area
Vepřek, Tomáš ; Nepevná, Vlastimila (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a modification of the distribution network (DS) of the city of Brno to ensure power supply in the required quantity and quality for end consumers. Calculation of steady - state operation of distribution network (DS) of Brno is performed in the programme PAS DAISY Off-Line v.4.00 Bison. On the basis of available data (dispatching scheme, load current of stem lines and reserved power of wholesale customers) we will analyze the steady-state of network. We will find out which of the 110/22 kV transformer stations, cable and overhead lines are overloaded and perform network adjustments to ensure safe and reliable operation by 2015. We will identify in which year we will need to build a new power node in the northern part of Brno. The conclusion is focused on technical and economic evaluation of proposed alternative network arrangements.
Project of Outgoing Transformer Unit for the Photovoltaic Power Station
Hanák, Miroslav ; Procházka, Aleš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This master’s thesis engages in project of outgoing transformer unit for the photovoltaic power station. It describes project and its design documentation what conducts to practising of construction. It has compared investing to more expansive transformer what has lower loss. It describes charges of operation’s transformer in twenty years. It leads project of cable low voltage. It compares whether is better to use aluminium or cupric cables. Project is led with respect for investment costs and minimum of operation loss.
Project of Photovoltaic Power Plant Grid Connection
Blažek, Tomáš ; Procházka, Aleš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with photovoltaic technology and economic evaluation of used technology equipment. The first part describes the technology for extraction of power from photovoltaic sources - transformer 22/0,4kV and its basic parts. Then there is the calculation of the amount of openings for cooling the transformer according to ČSN 33 3240. The second part focuses on the description of the major part of the photovoltaic plant. Here are divided solar panels on the material from which they are produced and the type of installation in the field. Next is describe the types of inverters, their principles and functions. The last part compares the different types of transformers and operating costs over the lifetime of plants (20 years), are described factors for proper selection of inverters and solar panels.
Design of the expansion of 22 kV distribution network in a specific part of the city of Brno
Lakomý, Vojtěch ; Nepevná, Vlastimila (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design measures of the distribution network in Brno to ensure a supply of electricity to its consumers in required quantity, quality and reliability. This project will be solved in the program called PAS DAISY Off-Line v.4.00 Bizon. At first we make an analysis of the steady state of the distribution network. We check load of transformer stations 110/22 kV, overhead and cable lines if they operate in allowed limits. Then we complete or correct reserved power drains of big consumers of electricity in the model of distribution system. From the calculation of the steady state of the distribution network we will probably find out that some parts of the system are overloaded. Therefore we suggest changes for it (like switching over circuits, installation of new transformer stations and circuits), which should ensure safety and reliability of operations in the distribution system.
Feeding power out of 110/22 kV Moravany u Brna substation
Chromík, Aleš ; Beneš, Jan (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s thesis is the design and reconstruction of the high voltage distribution network for the company E. ON with focus on calculation of the stabilized operation and on the planning of new cable taps from the transformer substation Moravany u Brna. The first part of the theoretical analysis of the work deals with the inclusion of the distribution network into the power system and with principles of development and construction of high voltage networks. The second part includes a general calculation of stabilized operation of the power distribution network and a familiarization with the program PAS Off - Line Bison 4.0. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the calculation of the stabilized operation at the current state of transformer substation Moravany u Brna using the PAS Off - Line Bizon 4.0 V programme. This part also contains the design of six new cable lines which are needed to strengthen the power distribution in the southern part of the city Brno. The closing part of this chapter constitutes of a outdoor and indoor cable line renovation. These cables are connected to the transformer substation Moravany u Brna and a calculation of stabilized operation is also included in this part.
110/22 kV Transforming Substation Reconstruction
Kubiš, Petr ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of reconstruction 110/22kV distribution substation in economic point of view, where we will assess the benefits of a combination of their involvement using the discounted cost. It’s necessary to reconstruct distribution substation due to the increasing demand for electricity, upgrading equipment in the distribution systems, improve the reliability of electricity supply to customers, etc.. Distribution substation layout must meet conditions resulting from a law on energetics and operation of primary distribution networks.
Design of a photovoltaic source connection to the grid
Rozmarín, Jiří ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes questions of photovoltaic power output of the part of distribution substation 22/0,4kV. The first part is focused on the simple description of sotware, which can be used in the design. The second and the fourth part deals with the actual design of substation, in the terms of its instrumentation, calculations for design and conductor sizing. The last part deals with the thorough check of the proposed power distribution and all the related equipment.
