This bachelor thesis is focused on classification of reciprocal economic relations between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. The aim of this thesis is to uncover, what are the relations like and what is their significance in the context of the foreign trade of both respective countries. In this case, trade in goods and services as well as mutual flows of foreign direct investments have been the subjects of investigation. Apparently, the reciprocal relations, despite not acquiring a major share in overall foreign economic activities of these countries, play an important role in economic happening. Currently, trade in goods is the one, which is achieving the biggest success. Also British foreign direct investments in the Czech Republic are reaching relatively high values (at least compared to Czech investments in the United Kingdom), however, the mutual trade in services is the one, which could have a substantive perspective into the future.
