Potential for Enlargement of the Commercial Services Supply within the COOP Group

The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the commercial services and potential for enlargement within the COOP group to increase competitive advantages. The theoretical part deals with the history of consumer cooperatives from the inception through the current situation in the Czech market of the retail trade in the relationship with characteristics of the market, customer and services. On the basis of the data from the Vision project a questionnaire about evaluation of the commercial services and potential for enlargement was created. The results are in many cases the same as the strategy of the COOP group. The respondents welcomed the product?s enlargement and technological equipment to simplify shopping. Customers would like to be a part of the bonus programs and gain some benefits from purchasing. If the COOP group implements some of those answers it will get constant customers and increase its Czech retail trade position.

The goal of the thesis Economy system and operation of a selected retail chain is to explore and analyze the sphere in which the retailer chain operates, and evaluate their financial situation. At the same time, the selected retail chain will compare with the selected sectoral competition. The first part of thesis covers the theoretical information about issues, in particular the definition of basic terms of trade and retail. The second part of thesis includes application theoretical knowledges by the situational analysis of company Tesco plc.

Economic relations between the Czech Republic and Italy

The work is focused on economic relations between the Czech Republic and Italy. The relations between these states have a long-lasting tradition. Italy belongs to important business partners of our country. The purpose of this work is to analyse development of the foreign trade between Italy and the Czech Republic during the period of 1993-2008 and evaluate both czech investments in Italy and italian investments in the Czech Republic.

Trade business in the Czech Republic

The objective of my work was to describe trade business in the Czech Republic. The thesis deals with the historical evolution of the trade law, it also defines the basic concepts and institutes of trade activities, as trade business, sole trader, subjects of trade law, trade licence, conditions of licensed trades etc. I also mentioned the trade register and trade control. Then I described manual how to start with trade business. In the end of my work I focused on summary and my experience with the trade business and finally I gave some advice how to improve the terms of trade business.
