A comparison of sport equipment used in tennis training for children in large and smaller tennis clubs
BERANOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the use of training aids in the tennis training of both younger and older school children, in large and smaller tennis clubs. The theoretical part is focused on the processing of knowledge about tennis, the sports training of children playing tennis, as well as specific training aids used in tennis training and factors that affect tennis performance. Four tennis clubs were involved in the research. Some of the largest tennis clubs in the Czech Republic - TK Sparta Praha and I. ČLTK Praha - were deliberately selected for the category of large tennis clubs. From the category of smaller tennis clubs, the TenisCentrum Dobříš and F. H. TK Dobřichovice clubs were chosen by lot. In these clubs, observation of childrens' training units took place, which were compared and then showed whether training aids were used in selected clubs. These results are depicted using tables and graphs in the results of this work. After comparison, it was found that training aids were used in large clubs in 83,54 % of the monitored trainings and in smaller clubs in 78,13 % of trainings. The most commonly used tool was cones, which occurred in 71,43 % of the observed workouts.
