Detached House with Motorcycle Restoration Workshop
Vacek, Filip ; Gintar, Jan (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The main thesis of this project is designing a place for relax and free time spending. The ground plan contains two intersected rectangles making a solution possible to protect each section requirements of a family house with workroom. The modern two storey basement house is placed to a gradient terrain on the periphery of village Dolní Dobrouč. The first part of squared basement is embedded in the ground around. The second one is opened to the north-east and it is used for relax, followed by the underground storey used for the technical foul territory. The overground storey is situated to the west and it creates in combination with the second overhead storey a daily and quiescent part of the object. The restorer-workshop is located on the ground floor on the ground plan of the second rectangle. The hip roof combined with flat roof and green roof are used for the coverage. The constructional standpoint has been proposed so as the chosen materials and systems functionally correctly worked, and they enabled an effective usage of particular parts. The general appearance of this construction will not affect either view of the house-building nor total character of a landscape because the house copies terrain.
