The sacrament of Penance in the Roman Catechism and in the Catechism of the Catholic Church

Bachelor thesis "The Sacrament of Penance in the Roman Catechism, and in the Catechism of the Catholic Church" analysis the historical context of the catechism's emergence (Chapter 2). For better clarity of the recherché part, the elaboration of catechism's contents was divided into three separate chapters. Joint analysis of both catechisms is viewed in terms of the circumstances of origin, content, and size, description, in whole or in part with a more general focus on the sacraments (Chapter 3). Own significance, the importance, the structure of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and its integration into everyday life and salvation of man is described in detail and separately for the Roman Catechism (Chapter 4) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (Chapter 5). The differences, similarities and identical terms, single major portions of both catechisms and detailed information about the celebration of the Sacrament of Penance are separate mutually evaluated and judged in historical-critical contexts (Chapter 6). Finally the findings and assessed objectives are summarized and evaluated (Chapter 7).
