The quality and the defectiveness of production are important factors in all sectors of engineering industry. On their improve there are a lot of effective tools, descriptive statistics is one of them. Descriptive statistic has many applicable tools but this work primarily focuses on desription of production using time series plot, testing of statistical hypothesis, testing of mutual dependencies of particular defects and control diagrams drawing. It is about a project that connects practice with theory.

Analysis of contingency tables

The paper compares asymptotic, exact conditional and exact unconditional tests for the evaluation of contingency tables. Relationship of asymptotic methods with generalized linear models is studied. The work focuses on exact methods, which yield promising results in the analysis of data with small samples. Some of the methods are alternatively derived in the context of logistic and Poisson regression.

Analýza aktuálního stavu rozdělení příjmů domácností v České republice v porovnání s některým dalším státem

Porovnání příjmů domácností v České republice a Slovenské republice. Uvedení faktorů, na kterých závisí výše příjmů domácností, popis druhů peněžních příjmů, vysvětlení statistických výběrových šetření. Vysvětlení charakteristik, kterými se popisuje statistický soubor (včetně vzorců), testy statistických hypotéz a regresní a korelační analýza. V praktické části je slovní a grafická interpretace rozdílů mezi příjmy domácností v obou státech a to jak obecně, tak i podle jednotlivých faktorů. Testování některých hypotéz o výši příjmů a zjišťování závislostí mezi příjmy a zmiňovanými faktory.
