Field social service for seniors

The thesis is theoretically oriented. The thesis centres on informal family care for the elderly. This thesis aims to show the family as an essential element of the care, to state the benefits and dangers of family care, and to reveal the state support system for the informal caregivers. In the first chapter defines the old age and ageing, the changes in the old age (physical, psychical, social, spiritual), and the personality of the old. The second chapter introduces the family as an element of the care, the benefits and dangers of the family care, and the state support system. The last chapter describes the social services, field social services for the elderly, care services, and personal assistance.
