The present thesis deals with the popular teacher. The theoretical part brings the concept of the teacher, provides further evidence of the teacher's personality in terms of psychology. The theoretical part also includes chapters dedicated to the typology of teachers, teacher competence concept and also brings visions of successful teachers, guidance teachers and research results. The practical part is based on research that was conducted through in-depth interview.

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the point of view on educated preparation of kindergarten teachers from the point of view of a student who studies combined form. The notion of professional development is defined and the history of teacher's profession is briefly introduced. Then the strategy for teacher education is described and compared with a situation in foreign countries. The personal and professional requests about kindergarten teachers are spefied in the theoretical part. The practical part brings the results from the quantitative research. Its aim was to discover the motives for a choice of university studies. It deals with notions of combined study students on the level and efficiency of study and usability of acquired information in a practical world. KEYWORDS

This diloma thesis is focused on the topic of the relationship between the teacher and the pupils at the elementary school.The theoretical part describes changes in the czech school system after 1989 and concerns developement of the new educational aims. It also deals with the personality of a teacher and his temperament, choice of teacher´s profession and requirements for this job. The theoretical part also contains the question of mutual relationship between the teacher and the pupils. In the practical part the author focuses on the results of the research of teacher´s interactive style which was accomplished by the method of the questionnaire.
