Welding Basic Course on 135 Technology
Dolejský, Tomáš ; Opletal, Jan (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
TOMAS DOLEJSKÝ: Welding Basic Course on 135 Technology. The project developed within the framework of the bachelor's study of a branch Engineering technology presents a proposal for a theoretical and a practical parts of the welding basic course with a method 135 in accordance with the curriculum of Czech Welding Society-ANB. The latest norms or up to the present time still valid ones are presented in the project. A theoretical part contains a necessary minimum of requirements for participants of the welding basic course. In the chapter of a welding technology is presented a practical part of this welding process and important principles for a required quality of welded joints according to long-time experience. In a conclusion there is an interpretation of a norm ČSN 05 0705 according to what welding basic courses are realized and a welding process WPS is presented here and a proposal of examining tests for a passing an exam in a welding basic course.
Welding of finegrain steel from range of Docol steel by YbYAG fiber laser
Kollnerová, Kateřina ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The project developed in the framework of engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology presents experiment welding of high strength steels Docol using a fiber laser. The work is a literature review describing the properties of welded materials, principles and different types of lasers and laser welding technology. In the experimental part, the validation set welding parameters. Finally, work is the evaluation of experiments.
Stick welding carbon and high-alloy steels
Hendrych, Marek ; Vaněk, Mojmír (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis of manual metal arc welding method or method 111. In the research part of this thesis are discused principles of this method, welding power sources and additional welding material-coated elecrodes. Further the thesis is focused on the weldability of steels, especially carbon steels and austenitic stainless steels. In the experimental part was accomplished measurement of operational characteristics of coated electrods. Measurement was carried out on sample of cabon steel S235JR according to ČSN EN and austenitic stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 accordig to ČSN EN. The evaluation envolves a comparison of the results and their justifications.
Welding of titanium alloys using electron beam
Schiffer, Martin ; Foret, Rudolf (referee) ; Havlík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on issue of welding of titanium alloys using electron beam. It is dedicated to description of principle of electron beam welding technology. There is described interaction of electron beam with the welded material, electron beam characterisation and configuration of device for electron beam welding. Next part is focused on evaluation of weldability of titanium alloys. It includes general description of weldability of materials, description, distribution and weldability of titanium alloys and finally evaluation of effect of electron beam welding on the microstructure. As an example, there is described effect of EBW on mechanical properties of alloy Ti-6Al-4V. In the end this technology is compared with other methods of fusion welding as laser beam welding, arc welding methods and plasma arc welding.
Renovation of tools steels for cold forming
Hrabina, Martin ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Master’s thesis “Revovation of tools steels for cold forming“ characterizes wear resistant welds for tool steels. The thesis is dividend into two main chapters. The first chapter of the thesis is focused on the theory of wear for cold work steels. The theory is combined with an experimental chapter. The experimental part describes particular materials and technology for welding. The conclusion of the thesis is evaluated results of test for mentioned technology and welding conditions.
Examination of degradation frequently repaired shearing and forming tools
Izák, Josef ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sigmund, Marian (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the renovation of forming tools made of tool steel, their weldability and assessment of the quality of tool repairs. The damaged tool was a part of the cutter from the progressive cutting tool made of Caldie steel. We used micro TIG technology to repair the damage. A total of three types of additional materials were used and investigated to restore the geometry of the damaged edge. One of the main purposes was to evaluate the possibility of extending the life of tools and reducing the implementation of already inefficient repairs. A number of destructive tests were performed for the assessment - macrostructure, microstructure, hardness measurement and EDS analysis.
Využití tavného svařování obalenou i netavící se elektrodou
Kameník, Tomáš
Bachelor thesis covered with unbreakable connection of metals using fussion arc welding and laser welding of iron alloys and other alloys. Here is made an analysis of welding methods MIG, MAG, TIG, coated electrode, laser welding and plasma wel-ding. The substances of these best known methods are described with their deployments in mechanical industries. In the last part of thesis is paid attention to addition products and their actions on the microstructure of weld. Illustrative pictures and metallographic cut complete this thesis.
Welding thin-walled pipes made of stainless steels
Naď, Tomáš ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with technology of welding of thin-walled stainless steel pipes and the analysis of weldability of stainless steels. The theoretical part provides a basic description of the material's weldability and the basic defects in welding, the characteristics of stainless steels, their division, marking, alloying and a general overview of their weldability. The experimental part describes selected welding technologies used for the production of thin-walled stainless steel pipes (LBW, PAW, HFIW). Finally, the technology used to weld the presented samples of thin-walled pipes is ascertained and the macrostructure of the weld are compared.
Structural analysis of austenitic weld joints
Procházka, Robert ; Foret, Rudolf (referee) ; Havlík, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with structural analysis of austenitic weld joints by using methods of material science. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the problematics of welding of high-alloy steels. After the general definition of welding and weldability of high-alloy steels, the thesis focuses on structural adjustments including welding defects during the welding process. Selected methods of fusion welding that were used to create these welds are mentioned in the second half of the theoretical part. The experimental part covers the structural analysis of the welds, which consists of microstructure evaluation, chemical composition analysis, and microhardness test.
