Study of the development of short-term strength of concrete at low temperatures
Ďurnek, Jan ; Louda,, Pavel (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The work deals with the study of the development of compressive strength of concrete at low temperatures. The content of the theoretical part is summarizing of all available information about cements, especially about the properties of cements used for the production of concrete in the Czech Republic. The next chapters deal with plasticizing and super plasticizing additives, which accelerate the hardening and setting of the concrete mixture. A certain part is reserved for the accelerators themselves. The practical part deals with the influence of individual temperatures on the maturation of the concrete mixture, especially on the compressive strength of concrete after 1,2, 7 and 28 days. The conclusion of the work contains an evaluation of the measured results.
