This diploma thesis deals with the new building of hotel with restaurant in Ochoz u Brna. The building consists of three above-ground floors. On the first floor is a reception, a restaurant with hinterland and a technical room. The second and the third floor is designed to accommodate guests at the apartments. The object has a saddle roof with wooden truss and steel purlins. The apartments include loggia. The object is placed in slighty sloping terrain. There is no other object on the land parcel.

The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. The second part is also to create an assessment of the energy performance of the building and usage of energy from renewable sources. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.

This thesis deals with suite for accordion solo by authors of the Russian composition school and specific problems associated with their interpretation at music schools and conservatories. The main goal is to draw attention to the Czech, Slovak and Russian accordion music scene and to analyse chosen accordion suites of three Russian composers. Furthermore, suitability to involve these suites into the repertoires of pupils at elementary music schools and of conservatories students is considered. The general aim is to introduce accordion not only as a folk instrument, but also as a concert one.

The theoretical part describes definition of Portable applications and benefits of theirs use. There are also described ways how to get these applications. This is area of Application virtualization, Portable applications platform, Live OS and Cloud computing. The practical part consists of descriptions and demonstrations of procedures how to create Portable applications using various technologies. There are described properties of the resultant solutions on the basis of observations that I gained during their implementation. The conclusion consists of recommendations and comparing technologies on the basis of gained experience. There does not exist any universal solution and is necessary to decide on base of the requirements of each user. From comparation of price and performance is Ceedo platform the best hit and solution based on Application virtualization.
