Vesecká, Renata ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Venzara, Jan (referee)
Title: Comparison of semi-contact and full-contact kickboxing disciplines in terms of general endurance and action speed. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to compare contestants of both disciplines and determine whether there are any differences of speed or endurance nature. The second objective is to create a suitable test battery which is valid for determining special action speed and endurance. Methods: This thesis is of empirical and theoretical nature. The thesis is supported by analyses from specialized literature in the fields of general sport preparation and training martial sports materials, data collection, statistical method of ANOVA. Results: The thesis results show that there are indeed differences in the prepairedness of the contestants from both disciplines, above all in the endurance. We came across an interesting result when testing the special speed. Trainers should certainly consult training methods of related disciplines.
