Uhrova, K. Influence of managerial leadership on employee performance and retention Bachelor Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023 The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to demonstrate the impact of managerial leadership on employee performance and retention in a selected international company. The thesis contains a literature search clarifying the basic concepts re-lated to the topic of the thesis and then it also contains the results of the conducted research and their interpretation. The research is mixed in its character and con-tains the processed results from a questionnaire survey enriched by semi-structured interviews with two leaders. Based on the analysis of the results and responses to the identified research questions and hypotheses, recommendations and suggestions are set out that could address or mitigate some of the company's identified weaknesses. The entire empirical part of the thesis is built on theoreti-cal assumptions.
Proposal for Changes of Motivational Programme in a Selected Company

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the current motivation program of Montáže inženýrských sítí spol. s r. o. The aim of the thesis is to propose changes that will lead to optimization and increase of employee motivation. The theoretical background of the thesis defines important concepts that are used in the following parts of the thesis. The analytical part evaluates the current state of the motivation system in the company. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used in the research. For the quantitative research a questionnaire survey was conducted and for the qualitative research a structured interview with employees was conducted. The information obtained from the research is the basis for the design part. The actual solution proposals represent 7 possible suggestions for improving the company's incentive program.
Motivation and Stimulation of Workers in Gastronomy

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze a motivation and a stimulation of workers in the selected company of gastronomy industry and created purposes to eliminate possibly failure.. In the theoretical part are explained the terms connected with the motivation and the stimulation. For example, a motive, an incentive, a dynamics of motivation. The theoretical part also deals with a characteristic of the manager and his actions and roles. The thesis focuses on the way how employees in gastronomy should be evaluated and renumerated. There are two analyses in the practical part. For first analysis is chosen a particular gastronomy organization. Basic information about the organization which are acquired from the interview with the manager and questionnaire survey with the employees. The second analysis is based on the questionnaire survey, where was participate 63 respondets which work in gastronomy in the district of České Budějovice. The data obtained from the survey are inserted into tables and charts and are essential for the conclusion. At the conclusion of the thesis are given suggestions and changes which should improve a current state of the organization.
Motivation and stimulation of members of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.

This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of motivation and stimulation of members operating on a daily shift and firefighters at the Fire brigade service of the South Bohemian Region. It brings and analyzes a system for the leadership of the organization and then proposes changes in this area. The theoretical part concerning the given issue with connection to scientific literature is presented, the basic terms from Czech and foreign literature and from the online sources are explained. There is also introduced a Public Servants Act, from which the motivation of members must be based and at the same time comply with it. This thesis also analyzes the fund of cultural and social needs and the collective agreement. The research part is focused on the analysis of the current motivational and stimulating system so that survey questions are answered and the goals of the work are met. The evaluation has been done as a form of a questionnaire survey, participants were members of the daily shift. Structured interviews were also performed with firefighters and these two groups were compared with each other. The results for individual questions are processed in the charts. Based on this evaluation, it is found that the motivation of members of the daily shift differs significantly from the firefighters. Although the regulations in the form of the Public Servants Act and the collective agreement are sufficient, it would be appropriate to make changes to this legislation, which would be aimed specifically at individual groups of members. Changes in the motivational management system are proposed, these changes could improve working conditions and satisfaction of members of the Fire brigade of the South Bohemian region.
Manifestations of work motivation and stimulation in chosen company

The thesis deals with the work motivation and stimulation of employees in the nuclear powerplant Temelín. The theoretical part deals with the issue of work motivation and stimulation of work performance. It presents manifestations of motivation (employee's benefits) as well se the existing theories of motivation. The practical part of the work focuses on analysis information from questionnaires of the employees. Their aim is to determine whether employees are sufficiently motivated for better work performance and whether they consider the motivation system satisfactory. The survey focuses on questioning the workers about their happiness with their work benefits and rewarding, as well as with work environment, or if they miss something. Based on the researched data, there are recommendations for increase of work motivation and stimulation of the employees at the end of the work. The recommendations are offered and consulted with the management segment of the company.
Management of Work Motivation and Stimulation in a Selected Company

The thesis deals with the issue of work motivation and stimulation of employees in the RICHMONT - CZ a.s. company. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and definitions of work motivation and stimulation and motivational and stimulating means. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of work motivation and stimulation in the company. Through a questionnaire survey presented to a total of 100 employees, information about their work motivation and stimulation was obtained. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey data, the results are statistically processed into tables and graphs. On the basis of the results obtained by statistical processing, measures, recommendations and suggestions for improving work motivation and stimulation of employees are presented to the company management.
Motivation and Stimulation in Selected Sector

This bachelor's thesis deals with the ways of motivation and stimulation of employees in a chosen environment. All the information is gathered through questionnaires and further interviews with two managers. The main goal is to make a list of ways and methods of motivation and stimulation, as well as showing their advantages and drawbacks. The environments under research are the companies XXXLutz České Budějovice and Mobelix České Budějovice. Both of them are furniture companies. The criteria for the working environment evaluation are: the average salary, the employee benefits, the satisfaction of workers, the opportunity of further training and education, and the company approach to the current Covid-19 situation. At the end of the thesis, the weights of the importance of criteria for both employees and the company are summarized. The companies will be able to draw from this survey over the next few years. Communication between employees and the employer is also expected to improve.

One of the important functions provided by the placenta is the transport of substances between the mother and the fetus. This transfer of substances enabled mainly by membrane transporters, which are located on the apical and basal membranes of the syncytiotrophoblast. During various physiological or pathological changes in the human body, their expression and amount can vary significantly. Inflammatory reactions that may occur during pregnancy are also related to these changes, and therefore we have addressed this issue and believed that this condition may alter the expression of placental transporters. The masterś thesis is focused on the system of work motivation and employee satisfaction in a selected company. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of motivation, remuneration and employee satisfaction. The analytical part evaluates the current system of motivation and remuneration of the company's employees, employee satisfaction in the field of remuneration, working conditions and interpersonal relationships in the workplace and the effects of internal and external influences on the system. Based on the performed analyzes, changes to the current system are proposed in order to increase employee satisfaction.
