Miniature high efficiency DC/DC boost converter

Bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of the DC/DC converters for charging notebook in cars. Variant 1 with parameters 9 – 18 V/19 V – 5 A is designed for 12 V system, typical for cars. Variant 2 introduce wide input range DC/DC converter with parameters 9 – 32 V/19 V – 5 A designed for using in 12 – 24 V system, thus usable in car or truck. It is also possible to use the converter in the supply system of small personal airplanes or in army supply systems which corresponds to the input voltage range. The main requirements are minimal size of converters, high mechanical durability for hard condition of operation and maximal efficiency with using a synchronous rectifier.
