Analysis of the Internet population

This bachelor's thesis addresses internet population in Czech republic. The literary research is divided into four sections. The first section explains the concept of internet and discusses its origin and development. A general internet user and users of internet in European Union are characterized in the second section. The third section is focused on internet population of Czech Republic. The last section of research is dedicated to research companies engaged in analyzation of internet population in Czech Republic. The practical section of this thesis maps internet population in Czech Republic in the years 2010 to 2015 and predicts its progress in 2016. It analysis internet users in selected sociodemographic views: representation of men and women, age structure and education level. Data are described using exploratory data analysis and they are processed using time series in statistic software SAS.

Statistical analysis of unemployment development in selected region

Bachelor thesis concerns about unemployment in Louny district. Unemployment in this district is under average of unemployment in Usti nad Labem region and is part of districts with lower unemployment rate. There are risk groups, such as people older than 50 years or people who seek employment for more than 2 years. Ratio of those people is still increasing. In perspective of education, most of those people have only elementary education. There is increasing amount of job opportunities from 2010 and the last year there is also increasing amount of employment for graduates or handicapped people. There is great potential in industrial zones in Louny district, which employees a lot of people. One of recommended change is to make the rules of unemployment compensation stricter and bigger support of community work.

Statistical analysis of unemployment development in selected region

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of unemployment. The theoretical part deals mainly in the explanation of individual terms such as labour market, labour supply and demand, manpower, unemployment, natural unemployment rate, measuring unemployment, causes and consequences of unemployment, types of unemployment, policy of employment and the history of unemployment.
The analysis is focused on the Central region. Unemploymet is examined in terms of unemployment age, education level, duration of registration, sex, job classification, unemployment rate and job vacancies. Selected indicators are compared by the individual districts of the Central region. By the end of the analysis, the focus describes basic trends.

Analysis of the efficiency of utilization of foreign aid: a case study of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The diploma thesis will examine key aspects of foreign aid of selected donors - the European Union, Japan and Sweden for the Kurdish Region of Iraq (KRI). The recent impetus for the provision of foreign aid was the invasion to Iraq in 2003, after which the country was significantly damaged. In the theoretical part will be presented key definitions and characteristics of foreign aid, together with definitions of important statistical procedures, which will be used in this thesis. In the analytical part will be evaluated, if the priority areas for reconstruction of Iraq defined at a conference in Madrid in 2003 were compatible with the development needs of the KRI, and if selected donors focused on the development needs of the KRI. In the analytical part, development of the KRI on the basis of development indicators and other statistical analyses will be computed. Finally, the data will be evaluated and recommendations presented.
