Title: Measuring of physical activity of UK FTVS and Palestra students using IPAQ Aims: - find out the range of physical activity of students from schools mentioned above - compare the results with each other and also with other researches - confirm or disconfirm hypotheses - set down conclusions Methods: questionnaire Results: - students of both schools are highly physically active (in comparison with ordinary population) - UK FTVS students are more active in all kinds of physical activity performed at school or in leisure time than Palestra students - UK FTVS students spend the most time on vigorous PA at school, while Palestra students spend the most time on vigorous PA at free time - concerning only UK FTVS, women are more active than men Key words: vigorous physical activity, moderate physical activity, International Physical Activity Questionnaire IPAQ, MET values, leisure time, young adults
Physical activity and passivity of young people from 15 to 19years old in South-Bohemian region of the Czech Republic

This thesis is concentrated on the analysis of the physical stress of the young people from South-Bohemian region of the Czech Republic. It is based on movement activity and passivity during the period of a week with the consideration of the gender and the age. The research was made on the selected group of young people aged 15 to 19years from the point of vigorous intensity, moderate intensity, walking and sitting during the years 2003 to 2004. Determined results are processed into the charts and graphs using the statistics.
Movement activity and inactivity of second school students from the district of Havlickuv Brod aged 15 to 19

These graduation theses are focused on the analysis of physical activity and inactivity of youth in the district of Havlickuv Brod from the standpoint of the movement activity during a week considering the age and the gender. The research was accomplished at a group of young people at two grammar schools at the age between 15 and 19 years from the point of view of intensive, moderate burdening movement activity, walking and average movement activity at work and in their free time, namely in 2008. Positive values are registered in shape of tables and graphs, the results have been processed statistically.
