The impact of the Lottery and Similar Games Act amendment on Sedlčany city and its sports organizations

Title: The impact of the Lottery and Similar Games Act amendment on Sedlčany city and its sports organizations. Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to find out which changes in the financing of sport in the city Sedlčany were caused by the amendment of the lottery act from 2012. Further objective is to describe the impact of the amendment on the economy of the city Sedlčany. Methods: The following methods were used when writing this thesis: case study, the analysis of the relevant documents and texts, interview with the member of the city council. Results: The analysis of the situation of the city Sedlčany after the change of the Lottery Act showed that the budget of the city has bigger income from lotteries because of the amendment of the Lottery Act. Based on this amendment the city could put into practice the city notice, which bans some of the betting games, lotteries and similar games. During the analysis of the financing of sport in the city Sedlčany it was found that sport in the city does not rely on the income of the city budget from the lotteries. The amount of money, which is supposed to be used for sports financing is based on the decisions made by the city council without consideration of the amount coming from the lotteries. Title: An outline of the development of the Czech sport financing after 1989 Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the development of the czech sport financing from the selected resources after 1989 till the present situation and it's prospect included in The concept sports funding 2016 - 2025 SPORT 2025 Methods: The basic method used in this thesis is the method of document analysis. Fundamental documents include legislative documents, especially The Lottery Act and its updating and The Act on Promotion of Sports. Aditional resources represent analytic and comparative studies prepared by ČOV, ČUS and MŠMT conception. Another method is statistic analysis of quantitative data, in form of termporal lines, which are processed into basic charts and diagrams. Results: In recent 25 years have been significant changes in sports funding established. The turning point is considered the year 2011, when czech sport lost two stable financial resources. Primarily the company Sazka, a.s. went bankrupt, secondarily the amendment of the lottery act was accepted and has discontinued offtakes for public utility objects. Since then an optimal sports funding system is sought. State sports support shows a long-term downward trend and belongs to the lowest rank in the EU comparison. efforts to improve...

Economy of the sport organization

The thesis "Economics of Sports Association" is devoted to Army Sports Centre Dukla Prague. Dukla is an administrative unit of state's organizational branch of Ministry of Defense. The theme of thesis is an economic analysis showing the degree of efficiency in the functioning of the club. The goal is insight into the structure of the operation of state support for sport and clarify the process of spending state resources in the field of sport and physical education. This goal is proved by analysis of legislation and subsequent comparison with actual spending of state resources in period of last three years i.e. from 2008 to 2010.
