Thesis contains draft of loghouse. Project documentation is made for realization of loghouse recreational object type, which is placet Nera Hamerske lake. The draft is designed to follow valid regulations and related standards. For the respektive separate standing building, designed in the thesis, is chosen a suitable piece of land which the building is equipped according to standrads ČSN 73 4301- The distances between buildings. The loghouse is installed into the grand (for wooden building) by unconventional way of establishment underground od reinforced concrete bored piles, because its located near water area. Disposition of this work is dealt in accordance with valid hygienic regulations and standards following requests of future user of recreational object. At designed building is solving critical deatils resulting from the structural design and actual characteristics of wood. Emphasis is placed on details, which ensure right function of wood building as for example installation of the window in loghouse contruction or insulation of plinth.

Současnost a tradiční severské stavby

The aim of this Bachelors thesis is to summarize cultural and historical context of timber building construction in Finland. It outlines the impact of geographic location and climate conditions and their importance in designing timber structures. It shows the evolution of the traditional vernacular architecture and consequently its gradual integration with the urban architecture. It describes the traditional design principles, materials, details and examples of buildings with which we could meet in history, but also in the present. Furthermore, it compares the building and construction principles of two seemingly different cultures, Czech and Finnish, and evaluates the possibilities of inspiration from Finnish tradition and contemporary practice in the Czech Republic.

The bachelor thesis deals with the processing of project documentation of the log building. It contains a description of behavior of used materials and its influence on the future functionality of the building. Thesis also describes basic principles of construction during the designing of the structure. This means mainly a placement of the structure, choice of the appropriate material, creation of foundations and cabin s walls, construction and spatial solution of the interior, ceiling and roof constructions and the bending details of the main construction details. Thesis contains design drawings needed to build a structural work and it will be provided with a depiction of certain details.

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is technology of log cabins construction and their behaviour several years after they are built. The practice part is based on knowledge gained during several months of practice then it continues to evaluate the behavior of construction proceded by long conversation with the owner of the selected log cabin. This thesis includes briefly described steps needed to build a log cabin and description of possible defects arising during the first years of its usage.
