The use of dogs in sports kynology affect the performance of the dog
FEIKOVÁ, Klára
The bachelor thesis of mine is about dogs in sports kynologie and about effects which work upon the exercise of the dogs. It reports also on the history and contemporary form of the International Examination Rules. It describes the IPO 3 exam and then it deals with finding out which breeds are the most suitable to perform the exam and then it deals with their use for superior competitions and Championships of the Czech Republic. This part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to a dog training, namely to one of the most important aspects, the motivation of the dog. Further it is dedicated to reflexes and disruptive effects with training. In this own thesis there are analyses of the results of superior competitons of the Czech Republic championship IPO, included the Czech Republic championship. Number, breed structure, age and gender detailes of participating dogs are followed, Through detailed observation and analysis it has been found out, that the most suitable dogs for completing this competitons with the best results possible are Alsatians and Belgian Shepherds malinois. Considering the gender, male dogs came in better than female dogs in all the analyses. The best age for the dog to participate in this competiton is the age from three to five. For coming up to the 10th place the best time is between the dog´s fifth and sixth year of age, because the dog and the handler have both certain experiences with completing exams and also competitons.
