On the basis of established facts has been developed actual state of renewable energy sources. The current situation is only orientation and is still changing at this time. Another objective was to evaluate the various renewable energy sources in terms of their impact on the electricity system and recoverability in the Czech Republic. In more detail were read up the conditions for the wind power plants operation and their connection to the electricity system of Czech Republic. In fine were discuss the impact of renewable energy sources on electricity system and prerequisite for their further development in the Czech Republic.
Effect of geographical location on solar systems performance
Kuljovský, Martin ; Weismanová, Júlia (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The sharp price increase and the impending depletion of fossil fuels has led to an increasing interest in renewable resources. This thesis deals with one of the most lucrative substitution between renewable sources - the solar energy. The introduction describes the emergence and spread of energy in the universe, then is devoted to basic distribution of collectors and informs about the possibilities of their use. In particular, it contains formulas for calculating the basic performance characteristics and then comparing differences between panels. Finally, it compares the effectiveness of collectors for different geographical locations in the Czech Republic.

Doskočil, Filip ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
Masters’s thesis describes the use of solar energy for solar thermal systems used for domestic hot water heating. It is about the size of the incident solar radiation on Earth. Distributes various types of solar collectors for water heating. It deals with the monitoring, remote management of this system and the design of optimal control used in this area.
Photovoltaic systems in the cities
Dobiáš, Pavel ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis' main goal is to introduce a potential reader with the photovoltaic system questions and its utilization in many applications. In the leading chapter the thesis deals with the potential of the energy which is radiated from the Sun towards the Earth. It tries to analyze the common problems of using this energy. The next part deals with simple semiconductor operating principles and explain the principles of photovoltaic cell functions. The upcoming part deals with the construction and basic types of photovoltaic cells and show the possible ways in their development. In the next part there are analyzed many types of photovoltaic systems and their application in praxis. In the next part the reader is introduced with the meaning of photovoltaic as a renewable source and with its support in the European Union and Czech Republic. The last part deals with design of four devices which uses photovoltaic system as a power source and which can be used in the city agglomeration environment.
Utilizable solar energy balance for preparation domestic hot water in family houses, area - South Moravia
Dobešová, Zuzana ; Půčková, Helena (referee) ; Kotlík, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with analyses of solar energy balance for hot water preparation in family houses Vacenovice and Vracov in the South Moravian Region. Analyses potential and real possibilities of this region and the South Moravian Region in cooperation with the Territorial energy conception of region development.
Utilization of solar energy for heating and ventilation – warm-air systems
Pospíšil, David ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis considers summary of application trends with using warm-air systems to space heating and ventilation. Thesis is divided into several sections. The introduction to the topic presents basic facts about solar energy; the origin of it and its availability. The next part defines systems working with solar energy for space heating and ventilation, describes partition of these systems and explains working principles. The final part gives examples in system’s application.
Analysis of a Photovoltaic Power Plant Operation
Design of board for solar fotovoltaic cells
Kulhánek, Martin ; Urbanec, Libor (referee) ; Venclík, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this dissertation is to discuss the engineering design of the supporting structure for solar photovoltaic panels with a total area of 200 metres square. The supporting structure is intended for implementation as part of a solar power station. The preamble of the dissertation examines photovoltaic power stations, their types, advantages and disadvantages. The focus of the second part is directed toward the project of constructing the supporting structure and it also deals with the tasks of attaching the photovoltaic panels and putting the panel’s supporting structure in place. This section will also propose methods of continuously monitoring both the panel and its support-structure once they have been constructed and brought into operation. The purpose of part three is to perform the calculations concerning the entire structure’s required load-bearing properties through the use of the Final Element Method in the program “ANSYS 11.0”. The conclusion of this dissertation is devoted to the evaluation and economic analysis of the construction.
Measuring station for the system of the remote energy supply
Dočekal, David ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the creation of measuring workplace for remote power supply system. This is the measuring of the workplace, engaged in the processing of measured data, the production of electrical energy made by a photovoltaic panel and wind turbines. In the theoretical part, the reader is familiar with the issue of renewable energy sources. The first chapter is about the energy of the wind. Here is described the emergence of the wind, the basic division of wind power, through the production of electrical energy to the measurement itself. The second chapter deals with the solar energy. This chapter describes the emergence of the solar energy, photoelectric effect, description of characteristic features and related evaluation of the photovoltaic panel. The reader learns the basic distribution photovoltaic panels here and their manufacturing. The third chapter is devoted to measurement methods and specifying the basic conditions for the evaluation of the operation of wind turbines and photovoltaic panel. In the fourth chapter describes the basic data on individual facilities, which have been selected for this thesis and the involvement of the measuring site. There is also included wind power JPT-100 photovoltaic panels A-130 anemometer TX20ETH, pyranometer SG420 and temperature sensor PT100. Measuring software is described in the fifth chapter. In the last chapter, contains the experimental measurements in the selected time interval and the actual evaluation.
