The role of moral responsibility in the educational effect of institutional child welfare
PŘÍHODOVÁ, Denisa
The diploma thesis deals with the role of moral responsibility in the context of institutional care for a child from a disadvantaged background. The work analyzes in detail the possible influence of psychological deprivation and poor socialization of the child on the change in adolescent behavior in the way that requires him to be removed from the family environment. The aim of this thesis is to map the meaning of moral responsibility in child education. This goal includes noting both the importance of a parent's responsibility towards their child and the importance of the child's own responsibility. In the case when the adopted responsibility of the child is not sufficient for ordinary life in society the importance of institutional care is pointed out. A fundamental knowledge emerging from this thesis is the fact that parents' lack of moral responsibility can cause their children to behave inappropriately and is itself transmitted to the next generation, creating a closed circle from which it is very difficult to exit. All discussed findings from theoretical sources were supported by the personal experience of the social worker providing assistance to families from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Social relations and social role arising from them in the school group from the point of view of educators.
ŠTYXOVÁ, Monika
The thesis deals with social relationships in the school group from the perspective of educators and on the roles that arise due to these relationships. That is, whether the educators realize that the school group is a space for interactions between children. The theoretical part focuses on chapters from social psychology related to the topic of this thesis. It also describes the field of leisure pedagogy, characterizes individual school facilities for non-formal education and educators of the school group. The practical part is devoted to interviews that were conducted with five educators from three different primary schools and it also briefly comments on the interview with two children attending one of the school groups. A question about the formality of the interviews arose during the interviews, thus the practical part also touches upon the comparison of the impact of the environment in which the interview takes place or the length of the respondent's practice. The findings show that all the educators that were questioned by the author of this thesis are aware that the school group is an environment for children's interactions, where children establish relationships and try different roles. However, not all of them can apply this knowledge to their praxis.

The impact of hand-rearing of the Psittaciformes chicks on their future breeding behaviour and reproduction abilities.
BALABÁN, Michal
Hand-breeding of Psittaciformes is an important theme in connection with potential problems in the reproduction of such reared individuals. This also affects the future survival of some endangered species in the wild. This theme is not very developed in the literature and many breeders are of the opinion that artificially fed birds could cause problems in breeding. Literary research on the given theme, elaboration of 54 anonymous questionnaires filled in by breeders and three interviews with breeders who encountered the issue of inclusion of artificially fed individuals in breeding are chosen as the methodology. During the literature search, evaluation of questionnaires and from the conducted interviews, it was found that mainly the method, resp. the course of artificial breeding, determines the characteristics and abilities of parrots for their future life. The course of hand breeding depends on the decision of the breeder, for what purpose the parrot is intended, whether for breeding or as a domestic companion. Depending on the circumstances and conditions, the hand breeding parrot is able to be of the same quality for breeding as a naturally bred individual or to be a perfect pet. The results of this work contribute to the view that endangered populations of some captive species, which are very difficult to reproduce naturally, can be supplemented under the right conditions by reintroduction of hand-breeding parrots. Artificially bred individuals can also be placed in captivity. If the right process of socialization has taken place, such birds have the same ability to reproduce as naturally bred individuals.
The Use of Elements of Scouting to Socialize the Child in Kindergarten
ŠRÁMKOVÁ, Jana
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to verify elements of scouting in the socialization process of four-to-fiveyear-old children in kindergarten. The secondary aim was to create an intervention programme focused on the use of scouting in kindergarten. Four-to-five-year-old children from a particular kindergarten were selected for the research and were randomly divided into two groups. Once per week the experimental group completed an intervention program with elements of scouting for three months. This group was tested three times during this time. The control group did not join the intervention program; the group only participated in the testing three times. The used methods were the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (Kožený, 1973) and the Developmental Social Skills Scale (Bednářová & Šmardová, 2015). In evaluating the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (Kožený, 1973) the thesis focuses on children's social inclusion competence. At the end of the intervention program the experimental group demonstrated 2,5 points better social integration than the control group according to the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (Kožený, 1973). When assessing the Developmental Social Skills Scale (Bednářová & Šmardová, 2015), the experimental group achieved a bigger increase in "handles independently" responses by 6 social skills items compared to the control group. Although both groups were continuously developing socially throughout the period, the intervention programme with scouting elements resulted in more remarkable results in the socialisation of four to five years old children.
