Fulfillment of the minimum standard of the association of educators in social work in the topic of ethics at selected universities

The master's thesis focuses on the topic of fulfilling the Minimum standard of the ASVSP in the area of ethics, specifically the analysis and verification of the effect of teaching on graduates, to determine whether the curriculum leads to successful application of knowledge and skills in practice. It is divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter introduces the characteristics of social work and the social worker. The aim of this chapter is to define social work, characterize the social worker, present the prerequisites of the social worker, and their moral profile. It also highlights the difference between professional and non-professional assistance. The second chapter deals with education in social work. This chapter presents the necessary professional knowledge and the education of social workers, along with its objectives. The chapter also addresses the adequacy of education and emphasizes the importance and intention of the ASVSP. The third chapter focuses on the ethical dimension of social work. Topics covered in this chapter include: ethics as an integral part of social work, ethical codes, education in the field of ethics in the context of social work, as well as the Minimum standard of the ASVSP in the dimension of ethics. It discusses education at the faculty of Theology, University of South Bohemia, in the bachelor's program of Social and Charitable Work. The final chapter presents the research investigation, which was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The aim was to ascertain whether the Faculty of Theology of the University of South Bohemia meets the Minimum Standard of the Association of Social Work Educators regarding the topic of ethics, specifically the analysis and verification of the effect of teaching on graduates, to determine whether the curriculum leads to successful application of knowledge and skills in practice.
Factors that affected the choice of study programme Social and Charity Work among students of the Faculty of Theology

The bachelor's thesis deals with the factors that affected the students to decide for the study of Social and Charity Work at the Faculty of Theology of the University of South Bohemia. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes social work, social worker and study programme Social and Charity Work. It also describes the vocation selection and analyzes the individual factors affecting the vocation selection. Practical part contains a research carried out through the anonymous questionnaires, which were distributed among students of Social and Charity Work. Its aim is to identify which factors and what extent affect the students in the choice of field of study.
Charitable, Social and Medical Friar Activities of Nuns at the Time of Communism. On Oxample of Congregation School's Nuns in III. Friar Order of St. Francis

Theoretical part of thesisi involves describing the situation of friar s order and congregation at the time of communism, especially in years 1948 till 1950, the main characteristic, constituion and charisma of the congregation of School s nuns III. friar order of St.Francis, activies of this congregation from its beginning, its foundation in our country until these days and a changes of mission of this congregation at the time of communism. In the part I used a qualitative search, where I analysed if changes of original mission was for the congregation OSF at the time of communism enforced charity, what contribution had a totalitarian experience of congregation OSF for the present and the future.
