Assessment of the impact of different types of RES in the power system
Zmeškal, Pavel ; Matoušek, Antonín (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with usage of each kind of RES under conditions of Czech republic and their usage at areas placed in. Consequently supplied RES output power at time and its influence on reliability of supply in EPS CZ. Way of operation of RES from point of view of requirement on regulation and control of operation of EPS is more studied on operation of different kinds of wind power plants, which due to its variable output power affects not only EPS CZ. At final caption, economic influence of RES to EPS is reviewed as a unit, increasingly claims on regulation, increasingly benefit on support of RES. All these influences increase price of electricity for end user.
Alternative Energy Resources for Family House
Němec, David ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused at an issue of thermal energy supply for family houses from renewable resources. The aim of this thesis is to provide a summary of possible thermal energy supplies from renewable resources (solar collectors, heat pumps). After that follows a draft and economic evaluation of these systems for individual sources of thermal energy. In introductory section a solar energy is described. It is a significant part of renewable energy. This part is followed by review with description, composition and principle of individual types of solar collectors and heat pumps. Next part is focused on draft of these systems. Conclusion is then dedicated to energy evaluation of individual designed systems.
Quantification of energy contribution of solar system control unit
Míčková, Petra ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study the problems of solar energy and its use in solar systems. Furthermore, to become familiar with a particular solar system for hot water, especially with the principle of energy conversion and features individual components. It is designed and implemented measurement method to determine whether the control unit for the system is important, or would be better even without it.
Creation of internal microclimate in the house with "nearly zero" energy consuption
Fibich, Marek ; Hořínková, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
Design of heating of the house with almost zero energy consumption. The first part describes the analysis of the building and heating, heat pumps theory and evaluation systems with heat pump.In the second part we find three variants of technical solutions. The third part contains solutions for selected variant and it is heating with heat pump air – water.
Creation of laboratory exercises for Renewable sources of energy
Bajgl, Tomáš ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the transformation of solar and wind energy into electrical energy by using a photovoltaic panel and a wind turbine. The work gives insight into the Czech Republic’s issue of energetics in the context of historical development, the current state, and the expected future development. The primary attention is given to the renewable sources - the solar energy and wind energy. Basic principles of creation and manipulation of solar and wind energy are described in this work. Two laboratory tasks are created for the Renewable Energy Sources' class as a part of the practical part.
Buildings for education - energy and indoor environment
Čišecký, Ladislav ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of indoor environment of a school complex in atypical Himalayan alpine environment which is totally dependent on energy originating from renewable sources. Structural design of buildings allows maximum utilization of solar energy which is the only one actually available source of energy in this area. The buildings are de-scribed in detail, as well as measurement conducted in buildings during the last year. The out-comes of measurements are compared with desired values. The thesis is also focused on math-ematical simulations by using BSim software. The output of a building energy simulations is an energy use prediction and design of appropriate measures to improve the current situation.
Possibile Use of Renewable Energy Sources in a House in the Village of Hovězí
Kašpar, Radek ; Daňhel, Petr (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis The possibilities of using renewable energy sources in a family house in the village of Hovězí is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the types of renewable resources and the possibilities of drawing up the subsidy program Kotlíková dotace. In the practical part describes the object of the family house. For this house the necessary attachments were made for the possibility of drawing the Kotlýkové subsidy and the most suitable source of heat was chosen with the calculation of the costs of implementation and evaluation of the payback period.
Solar radiation in place BUT FME Brno
Horváth, Josef ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the elaboration of measured solar radiation data collected from sensors placed on C3 building - BUT FSI localization in Brno. Data measured during 2007-08 and 2008-09. The aim of this thesis is to present the measured solar radiation data in statistical and graphical form, which can be used as a basis for the solar collectors and barrier-layer calculations. Part of the thesis creates also a comparison of incident solar radiation on a horizontal and sloping surface. We will encounter here with brief characteristics of solar radiation, possibilities of utilization and the ways of its measurement.
Low potential heat for electrical power generation
Dobiáš, Jiří ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with low potential heat sources for electrical power generation. It mentions primarily low potential heat sources, their distribution by origin and where you can find such resources. Another part deals with the technology that uses low potential heat to heat production of higher temperature level and power generation. These are discussed here with a heat pump, regenerative heating, Stirling engine, solar collectors, Peltier cells, etc. In addition is to their use in practice. The last chapter deals with the replacement of the heater in the regeneration heating coil from the solar collectors. It is thus the use of renewable energy sources. Carry out technical and economic calculations for the real utility of such a plan.
Hydrogen fuels
Umlauf, Martin ; Bébar, Ladislav (referee) ; Jícha, Jaroslav (advisor)
Paper presents a basic review and comparison of energy-conservation made of renewable sources. Principal question of paper concerns evaluation of hydrogen-use made of electrolysis of water. First part of the thesis focuses on the production of energy from renewable sources and the possibility of energy-accumulation. The next section describes methods of hydrogen production and utilization of hydrogen as a fuel for combustion engines. Attention is paid to various aspects dealing with construction of combustion engines using hydrogen. Final part of the study presents comparison between combustion engines using known sorts of fuels as to their pollution and emission-level. Next comparison deals with economic cost per kilometer, when different sort of fuels are taken into account. Conclusion concerns approximate calculation of the production of hydrogen from water by electrolysis using photovoltaic power plants.
