Jozef Tiso as a live political issue
Šimkovič, Jakub ; Rataj, Jan (advisor) ; Martínek, Miloslav (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the handling of the image of Jozef Tiso in contemporary Slovak society. The time elapsed from the existence of the first Slovak Republic guarantees that there is still enough people personally involved with. This situation in the Slovak society is continually reflected by an unprecedented level of amateur or professional contributions to the unfinished quest for an imaginary objective truth. Because the heritage of Tiso is still active, it is appropriate to analyze those groups for which the politics is alive. It should provide a basic overview and the analysis of the reason why some parts of the society approach to the rehabilitation of Tiso and then the whole system.
