The aim of this thesis is to make more detailed disposition solution of the variant C.2 of shipping channel Přelouč II from the possible variants provided by ŘVC CR. The solution contains detailed technical documentation of the lock chamber. The study is divided into several parts, including an engineering report, hydrotechnical calculations, project documentation of the shipping channel and lock chamber and the photographic docu-mentation of the locality.
Mapping of historical technical buildings in the border region

This bachelor's thesis discusses historical technical buildings in a boarding region. The beginning is focused on types of technical buildings, woodworks history and woodworking industry. Furthermore, there are described two main personalities who played an important role in this area. The main part of the thesis is focused on sawmills, shipping channels and power stations. Biggest and most significant sawmills, shipping channels and power stations in the border region are discussed in the following chapters, as well as places, where these objects were located. The goal of the thesis is to describe these historical objects in regional context and point them in maps.
