Rationalization of machining of shaped surfaces
Šulcová, Eva ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with milling of shaped surfaces. Theoretical part contains informations about methods of machining according to the cutting process, characterizes CNC machine, structure of CNC programs, cutting tools and types of shaped surfaces. In experimental part thesis described two methods of 5 axis machining: continuous machining and 3+2D machining. In this part there are destribed one specific shaped surface, choice of CNC machines and cutting tools, creation of CNC programs in CAM software and subsequent implementation both methods of machining. Results of both methods are summarized in the final section, specifically in the technical and economical evaluation and in the conclusion.
Design of Device for Regrinding of Specimens
Matečka, Martin ; Nečas, David (referee) ; Smejkal, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on design of device for regrinding of specimens. In the first part is described grinding technology, cutting conditions for grinding of outer cylindrical surfaces and kinematic and dynamic phenomena arising in these conditions. There are also analyzed the grinding tools and their using. In the next points are described the designs of the grinder’s basic components. The last in this chapter is described the testing device on which the specimens are tested. The next chapter is focused on description of the objectives and analyzing the problems. There are described the variants of design solutions. After assessment of advantages and disadvantages of all variants is selected optimum design solution which is detailed described in the last section.
Productive machining of profile surfaces
Šulcová, Eva ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on a method of milling shaped surfaces. As for the theoretical part, it contains general characteristics of CNC milling, CNC machines and cutting tools. The following part of the experimental verification deals with the comparison of two different methods for milling shaped surfaces. Having said that, it also describes specific shape surfaces, choice of machines, selection and production of cutting tools as well as description and implementation of both methods. The final part of the work summarizes the results of both methods.
