BUT Area Kraví hora
Trčálková, Miroslava ; Dvořák, Miloš (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Dvořák, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is a detailed study of the VUT area at Kraví Hora to a scale of 1: 200. The aim is to combine the interests of VUT and Brno in this extraordinary territory for the benefit of both subjects. For the needs of the city, I created a publicly accessible park in which I placed the VUT museum buildings and the spaces for the promotion of individual VUT faculties that the Technical University lacks. I have also placed the object of the creative business center here. These are rented spaces especially for VUT graduates and VUT employees who want to do creative work. Both buildings with a green walkable roof are embedded in the terrain so as not to disturb the overall impression of the landscape and create a natural transition between the buildings and the city park.
Winery Lahofer Dobšice
Odstrčilová, Jana ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is a design of a new building of Lahofer Winery in Dobšice u Znojma. An architectural study was created in AG33 class. The thesis works with the study and expands it by certain documents: Building permission documentation, and Execution of the project documentation. The building plot is located near Dobšice on a southern slope which is used as a vineyard. The task was to design a winery with a production building capable of producing up to 1.000.000 bottles of wine per year, and an administration building containing administration part, restaurant with necessary facilities, short-term accommodation for visitors, and showroom with a wine tasting area. The requirement of a public zone affects the size and form of the structure. We do not solely design a production building but also a building for the best representation of the company, recreation and social events. The main goal was to join the two functions sensitively - so that they can complement each other. We wanted to create a compact monolithic structure that is partly embedded into the ground - as is usual with traditional wine cellars. The monolithic structure is divided into a partly embedded production part and a public part with a view of the surroundings. Out of the mass of the monolithic structure rises another - third - floor. It is set a bit aside so that a terrace is created. The glass facades of the public part are on the Southwest. The vast area of the facade is divided by metal panels intertwined with willow twigs. The panels are set in a way so as to create an impression of a wine sprout coiling around the concrete slab of the main mass. The detail shows a form of the sliding panels used for shading of the glass surfaces.
