Sexuality of users with mental disabilities center STROOM Dub o.p.s.

The diploma thesis deals with an issue of sexuality intellectually disabled clients of the STROOM DUB Centre o.p.s. Its aim is to identify the centre clients´ sexual experience and to specify attitudes of the centre staff towards the clients´ sexuality. The following aim was to determine possible sexual risks that might endanger the clients. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical. The theoretical part is focused on the basic specification of intellectual disability and the concepts related to sexuality. The next part is aimed at dealing with sexuality within the facility, attitudes of the staff and the dilemma related to sexuality. The last chapter of the theoretical part is an introduction of the STROOM DUB Centre o.p.s. and a protocol about sexuality. The research part deals with given goals and research questions. The main goal of this thesis is to determine whether the clients of the centre have any sexual experience and what kind. The second main goal is to assess the attitude of the staff towards the clients´ sexuality. Two research questions were set. The first question: Do the clients of the STROOM DUB Centre o.p.s. have any sexual experience and which? The second question: What attitude have the staff of the STROOM DUB Centre o.p.s. towards the clients´ sexuality? The research part describes a method of the thesis composition, which methods will be used and describes the research sample of the respondents, thanks to whom the thesis was created. A method of qualitative research was used. The research sample is selected according to an intentional choice of clients, 2 women and 2 men. The second research sample includes 4 female centre employees. All these respondents were informed about the goal of this thesis as well as of research questions. A method of a half structured interview was selected. The interviews took place in a quiet surroundings in the middle of the STROOM DUB o.p.s. Their analysis is implemented through the Atlas.ti8 program.

Relation between body hair removal, body care and sexuality Although hair removal has been described as a "new norm" during the past decades, only a little is known about body hair removal patterns of women in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this study was to assess leg, underam an pubic hair removal behavior among women in the Czech Republic and to test the degree to which hair removal in various parts of the body is associated with body care as such, that is, to find out if it has become an integral part of women's daily body care practices or whether it is regarded as a rather specific one, unrelated to one's other body care habits. Furthermore, an association with sexual experience has been tested, along with attitudes towards sex and one's genitals, which have been shown to be a significant intervening factor by some authors. Last but not least, the importance of various reasons mostly given for hair removal has been assessed as well. First, a total of 15 women aged 19 to 46 years were interviewed in a pilot qualitative study. Sex education and sexual experience of adolescents

The work deals with sex education and adolescent sexual experiences. Em-phasis is placed on adolescence as the period of risk and the importace of sexuality in human life. The theoretical part comprises free thematic units ? adolescence, sexuality and sex education. The practical part deals with a view od adolescents on this issue. The aim is to find out what adolescents have sexual experience and how the concept of sex education at school for thein Leeds. The research was carried out quantitatively among students agend 15-18. Data were collected through unstandardized anonymous questionnaire. Then it was processed into tables and graphs. The research results showed according to adolescents is sex education in primary school unsufficient. Other results are closer to the sexual life of adolescents and thein preception od the importace of sex in a relationship.

Mate choice in males and females Sinai Spiny Mouse was examined in T-maze. Males in fidelity test preferred contact/odor of unfamiliar female however females in same test preferred their partners. It seems that males tend to polygyny and females tend to monogamy. The Result of the second test implies that sexually experience is needed for clear preference between mated or unmated partner. Sexually naive females and males did not show clear preference.
