Poškození semenáčků jedle bělokoré ve výběrném lese na lokalitě Klepačov, ŠLP ML Křtiny
Uchytil, Lukáš
The thesis deals with the damage of seedlings of silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) and the effects on their successful growth. The research investigation was carried out in the stands in the transfer to the selection forest of the University Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest in Křtiny, locality Klepačov. The field research was carried out on 14 fenced and 4 unfenced research plots. From the measured data it was found that fir regeneration prefers semi-shady to shady sites and is poor in places with high intensity of incident light radiation. Another factor evaluated was substrate composition, which revealed that fir seedlings thrive best on mixed and coniferous substrates. On the other hand, they thrive the least on a deciduous substrate, due to the fact that fir seed is not adapted to growing through high levels of leaf litter, especially beech. Game continues to play a large role in the failure to grow, but increased harvest is beginning to have a positive effect.
Využití potenciálu přirozené a kombinované obnovy na Lesní správě Nasavrky (Lesy České republiky s.p.)
Zemanová, Anna
The diploma thesis dealt with the topic of the vegetation decline of the Norway spruce and its following regeneration in the Lichnice district, Nasavrky Forest Administration. From the results obtained from the forest economic records, it was found that the beginning of spruce decline was detected in 2018. The highest reported volume of random logging was reported in 2020 (46 405.92 m3). The largest reported clearing was also in 2020, at 53.69 hectares. The most common tree species in natural regeneration and artificial regeneration was Norway spruce, but its share is gradually decreasing year by year, to the benefit of a greater diversity of tree species on the range. Next, an experiment was conducted with the seedlings of the forest tree species that were collected and replanted as an underplanting in spruce stand 326A08. The mortality of the three study areas was evaluated here. The best results were achieved by white fir seedlings, where minimal mortality was found, on the other hand, the worst results were achieved by summer oak seedlings, where mortality was almost the majority.
Zhodnocení přirozeného generativního zmlazení borovice kleče v NPR Praděd (CHKO Jeseníky)
Pálka, Ondřej
This diploma thesis deals with the study of the current capability of the generative reproduction of dwarf pine stands (Pinus mugo Turra) in NNR Praděd and the determination of factors influencing the success of generative reproduction. The work deals with the occurrence of the dwarf pine seedlings depending on the stand disturbance of grass-herb vegetation, distance from parental stand and the thickness of the soil horizon A. The work also solves the problem of influence of a particular species of grass-herb vegetation on the occurrence of seedlings. The results show that the higher the rate of disturbance and the smaller the distance from parental stand, the higher is the occurrence of seedlings. It was also found that the most common types of vegetation in which the seedlings were grown were Nardus stricta and Avenella flexuosa.
Seed germination and seedling recruitment of Iris sibirica depending on the type of management
HOŘEJŠÍ, Edita
This work continue on a bachelor's work which investigated production characteristics of the plant species Siberian Iris (Iris sibirica). The aims of the presented work are reproductive properties by seeds of Siberian Iris in relation to the seed germination and with various meadow managements. Seeds of Siberian Iris (collected in 2015 and 2016) were investigated in laboratory condition and at meadow near the pond Dolní Stržený (Dlouhá Lhota, of the Tábor District). Seeds were divided into groups according to 4 treatments: without intervention, scarification, thermal stratification and cold stratification. The field experiment runs from September 2016 to August 2017.The aim was to find out the most appropriate type of management (mowing, disturbance) that would promote seed germination and seedling recruitment. Results from the both experiments: a positive effect of germination after the scarification, better recruitment of seeds in square without intervention, seeds probably needs to be stored for a longer period before sowing. These results cannot be generalized, because small number of repetitions were performed. All the obtained data was discussed and recommendations for the plant management were formulated.
Vliv provenience na růst semenáčků douglasky tisolisté
Juračka, Michal
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of different provenance on the growth of Douglas fir on uncovered mineral soil. There were tested 14 provenances from Canada and 2 from Czech Republic. There were monitoring bare-root seedlings in forest nursery Cetkovice. There were evaluated 100 seedlings from each provenance. In this study is also comparison with one-year and two-year seedlings which were measured in 2011 and 2012. In this study are mentioned basic characteristics about forest nursery Cetkovice where was cultivated of planting stock. The provenance SHAWATUM C var. menziesii was assessed to be the best of three-year seedlings, on the other hand the worst was the provenance HOSPITAL CR var. glauca.
Inventarizace přirozené obnovy dubu letního (Quercus robur L.) na území CHKO Poodří
Putala, Valentin
The object of this bachelor thesis was to make an inventory of natural renewal of oak tree in nature conservation area Poodří (specifically in conservation area Kotvice). In the theoretical part of the thesis the problems of natural renewal are solved in general, then in concrete nature conservation on the ground of local conditions. In the practical part I have introduced the results of my inventorying of the natural renewal of oak tree.with regards for observation conditions of each trees.
