Implementation of Health and Safety Education in a Elementary School with Small Classes

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a research part. In the theoretical part, I define concepts such as implementation, health, and health education. I focus on the area of Child and Its Body, which is included and specified in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Furthermore, I describe the concept of health education in preschools. I also cover the area of Human and Its World, specifically the field of Human and Its Health, which is included in the Framework Educational Program for Primary Education, at the first stage. I discuss small rural schools and finally, I write about safety in the school environment. The second part is focused on the analysis in the field of health education, specifically - the school educational program, the school preventive program, and the annual report of Sloup v Čechách Primary and Nursery School. Based on the conducted analysis, suggestions for improvements in the researched area will be formulated. One of the partial goals is the subjective evaluation of the feeling of safety at school, i.e., to determine whether students and staff feel safe at school and how they protect their health and safety. Knowledge of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in the Liberec and Ústí Region

Title: Knowledge of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in the Liberec and Ústí Region. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge in the field of first aid among primary and secondary school teachers in Liberec and Ústí nad Labem regions. The sub-tasks of the work are to find out whether and in what form the respondents are most often trained, and which injuries or accidents are most common in primary and secondary schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to collect data, with a total of 30 questions. The non-standardized questionnaire was inspired by the 2022 Tyler questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was distributed via email. The sample consisted of teachers from primary and secondary schools irrespective of the subject taught. A total of 378 teachers participated, of which 302 were female and 76 were male. There were 213 teachers from the Liberec region and 165 from the Ústí region. 247 teachers teaching in primary schools and 131 from secondary schools sent in their responses. The data were converted into Microsoft Excel and processed using the graphical method.
