It contains general view of the crop of fodder materials by using balers and also compare types of balers each other from the most popular producers in the world. In the next point is the structural description of baler. The last point of thesis focuses to the mutual comparison of balers depending to the technical and economical index.

This work deals with the comparison of two round balers with a variable baling chamber (Claas Variant 365 rc pro) and with a variable baling chamber without the possibility of pressure configuration (Krone Comprima F 155 XC baler), for two private farms with the same focus but different machines. The main comparison lies in area performance, quality of work and economic efficiency. The comparison took place on a pre-prepared plot. Each press had half the land.

Bachelor thesis Machines and machine lines for silage provides an overview of machines and machine lines used for silage harvesting. The thesis describes the machine lines used for the production of feed and processes for making silage, including mowing and swath adjusting, tedding, raking, baling and wrapping bales in stretch film, collecting forage with forage wagons and harvesting using forage harvesters. In the practical part of this work are compared technical and economical parameters of two machine lines for silage on a private farm.

Comparison of pick-up balers Pottinger, Rollprofi 3200 LSC and Krone KR 10-16S during the harvested production.

This bachelor work is focused on evaluation of round balers. It is about comparsion of machines from major producers of harvest equipment Krone and Pöttinger. The goal was to find out qualitative and quantitative differences between round baler Pöttinger Rollprofi 3200 LSC with fixed compression chamber and Krone KR 10-16s with variable compression chamber. It was evaluated performance, forage quality, cutting quality, the measure of copressibility and economic indicators. The result was a finding, that in terms of quality of work, both machines are comparable. The differences are in purchase costs of machines, as a result of higher fixed costs of pick-up baler Krone KR 10-16s. Next differences appears, when different diameters of bales are needed. Then a pick-up baler with variable compression chamber must be used.
