Růst a vitalita prostokořenného a krytokořenného sadebního materiálu při obnově stanovišť středních a vyšších poloh
Mácha, Michal
The aim of the thesis was to compare the growth of containerized and bare-rooted planting stock. For this purpose suitable location on set of forest types 5K, 5S, 6K, 6S, 7S and 7K were selected where sample plots were based. On each of these areas 200 pieces containerized and 200 pieces bare-rooted plants of European beech, Douglas fir and Norway spruce were planted. At the end of the growing season the height and diameter of root collar were measured with 100 plants of each variation, further the vitality and mortality were found out. At the same time the further parameters were investigated which led to clarifying the results. Subsequently the statistic evaluation was made according to the individual habitats and variants. The results show that the highest mortality was on areas located on sets of forest types 5K and 5S. It was also found out that a small height of the above-ground part of containerized planting stock of Douglas fir influences negatively the growing up just after planting. With European beech and Norway spruce no significant differences were found between containerized and bare-rooted planting stock.
Možnosti stimulace vývinu kořenového systému sadebního materiálu lesních dřevin
Koudelík, Lukáš
The aim of this work was to verify in practice chemical products to support the growth of the root system and aboveground mass planting of forest trees in nurseries. These preparations were applied to plots in the nursery firm LESCUS Cetkovice, s.r.o. Application was processed according to the methodology of the chemical product manufacturer. Preparations were tested on major economic forest tree species. The monitored variables were the weight of the aboveground part, the weight of the underground section and height increment. The values were compared with those obtained from selections without treatment chemicals. Producers confirmed the efficacy claims for products Energen Fulhum and Galleko Růst. Unsuitable for use in nursery practice reflected product Galleko Kořen.
Hodnocení produkce a vitality sadebního materiálu lesních dřevin za použití hnojiv a přípravků s fytostimulačním účinkem v lesní školce Hejtmánkovice - Pasa
Térová, Radka
Final thesis on Assessment of production and vitality of forest woody species planting material with use of fertilizers and phytostimulatory agents in forest nursery Hejtmánkovice Pasa is a model study conducted in forest nursery. Topic of study was assessment of effect of phytostimulant WormsAktiv Stimul and slowly dissolving mineral nutrient Silvamix R30S with stimulants. In this context the biometric characteristics of douglas fir were assessed along with physical, physico-chemical and chemical characteristics of soil. Resulting estimation of biometric parameters of asessed plantlets after application of both preparates showed significant increase in root hair count of plantlets DG 2 minus 1. Results of this research report the effectivity of applied natural phytostimulants.
Growth performance of containerized and bare-rooted planting stock
Pechman, Petr ; Kuneš, Ivan (advisor) ; Otakar, Otakar (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development and growth of containerized and bare-rooted seedlings of Norway spruce on the plots situated on the Dolní Lomnice Forest District, a division of Karlovy Vary VLS ČR, s. p. (Army Forest and Estates of the Czech Republic). In this work addressed the following sub-tasks: comparison of mortality, height increment and increment of root collar, root development, analysis of cost recovery stands on the site. Three years after the founding of the plots it was discovered that containerized planting stock reached higher relative increment. When using a planting hole technology, the mortality was in both types of planting stock approximately similar. Furthermore, it was found that containerized planting stock planted with the planting hole technology, a higher incidence of advent naturally developed roots occurred. The planting technology using a loading mandrel (similar typesetter) used for containerized planting stock was assessed as an unsuitable and also the most frequent presence of unnatural root architectonics (deformations and secondary roots, if they were ever developed) it was demonstrated. An economic study showed that the overall costs for the forest regeneration using of the containerized planting stock are higher compared with the bare-rooted planting stock.
Vyhodnocení rekonstrukcí nevhodných lesních porostů v oblasti Suchého vrchu
Malý, Jiří
Since 2005, in Suchý vrch observed significant damage to spruce forests of middle age. In response to this situation, it decided to reconstruct these growths in 2009 within the project "Improvement of natural conditions in forests district Albrechtice, Suchý vrch. Selected damaged crops were harvested and replaced with plantations largely ameliorative and stabilizing tree species, which should improve biodiversity and ecological stability of the whole mountain region with the dominant proportion of spruce stands. Now, four years since the implementation of transformations it is time to try to evaluate the entire project. The aim of this work is a comprehensive evaluation of both the plantations and the conversion of selected procedures and aftercare of culture until 2013. At the same time work aims to present its own proposals that would improve and the project could proceed in a similar manner even when other necessary transformations in the region.
Vliv velikosti a krytí holiny na odrůstání douglasky tisolisté
Ludvík, Ladislav
The aim of this thesis was to determine what influence the varying size of clearing and cover of the stand has on the gradual growth of Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii /Mirb./ Franco). The evaluation of different types of planting material (2 + 1, 2 + 2, 3 + 0 and f1 + k1) on partially covered locations is part of the thesis as well. Examination was conducted on research locations ÚZPL established in year 2010 (17 locations) and 2011 (4 locations) in the forests owned by the city of Brno. The survey was conducted after the end of the vegetation period in the months of September and November of the year 2013. It is a follow-up survey of the previous measurements realized in the fall of 2012. On all locations at least 100 individuals were measured and evaluated. These are the variables and signs assessed -- the overall size of the above ground part (in years 2012 and 2013), quantity of growth in each year, the thickness of the root neck, number of plants with multitude stems, the deviation of stem (straight, up to three times the diameter of the stem and more than three times diameter of the stem), the shape of the tree-top (triangle, ellipsoid, round and one-sided) the length of needles, the colour of the assimilatory part (green, bright green and yellow), loss percentage. These results were confronted with results from previous years. The results of this master thesis proved, that different size (and cover) of clearing and the used planting material have influence on the successful planting and growth of Douglas fir cultivation. The Douglas fir seems to be growing more successfully on locations protected at least from three sides where the width of clearing is no more than 35 metres. If quality planting material is used, low mortality of the plants can be expected as well. Aproximately after three years the quantity of growth and the thickness of the root neck on different locations start to match. On the locations protected from two sides and with the distance of the clearing from the stand not above the 1,5 multiple of the stand height, the covered-root plants (f1 + K1) and plant type 2+1 was proved to be most successful in growth and suffered from minimal loss even after three vegetation periods. The losses which occurred in 2013 were comparably lower to those in 2012.
Vliv kvality substrátu na růst jednoletých semenáčků lesních dřevin
Vaďura, Ondřej
The main aim of nurseries consists in obtaining quality plants at the lowest price. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the quality and suitability of different substrates for spruce and beech seedlings that have been grown in nurseries Budisov and Planá nad Lužnicí. For the cultivation of seedlings were used substrates Gramoflor, Agro CS and Rašelina. For seedlings were measured their parameters which were statistically evaluated. Results are shown using commented tables and charts.
