Managerial styles in practice
FERDOVÁ, Jaroslava
The work deals with the evaluation of managerial styles of managers in selected organizations. The evaluation took place in a total of four organizations, in which the attitude of managers towards management was examined and the perception of subordinates towards the applied style of managerial management was evaluated. The data were obtained through a questionnaire survey and then elaborated in more detail in the results of the work. The survey used a managerial grid, a transactional and transformational approach to management, an evaluation of fixed and growth thinking, and a questionnaire for subordinates was supplemented by an evaluation of satisfaction with a superior employee. At the end of the work, the approaches of superiors to management were compared with the attitudes of subordinates and recommendations were proposed for each company to support the desired state.
