Simulation of rolling operation using explicit FEM
Bezrouková, Martina ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to introduce explicit finite element method (FEM) and to familiarize with commercial software tools witch are capable to perform simulations. The technological conditions and the scope of application of roller burnishing are described in subsequent part. The simulation model of roller burnishing was created. Software ANSYS LS-DYNA was used to make computations. The results of simulation and technical and economical benefits of roller burnishing are presented in the conclusion.
Finishing technology using plastic deformation of the surface
Lipka, Ondřej ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This publication includes a research of currently used finishing technologies based on plastic deformation of the surface. In this publication there are specifically analysed technologies polishing, roller burnishing, diamond burnishing and shot peening. The publication presents also producers of machines or tools for individual technologies and their practical usage.
Roller-burnishing technology in engineering.
Bezrouková, Martina ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The purpose of the paper is to provide basic description of machine parts finishing using the roller burnishing technology. The paper burnishing specifies roller burnishing process conditions and application areas and gives technical and economic evaluation and comparison with conventional technologies.
Roller burnishing tools in engineering.
Henzl, David ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with chipless technology of roller burnishing and tools with bearing on roller burnishing of circular orifices and back-to back surfaces. In the first part of the work elementary conections concerned with finishing and hardening of machine components by roller burnishing are explained. In the next part the classification of tools produced by German company Baublies AG is realised. In the following part there are examples of roller burnishing method utilization in the machine industry. Hereafter, the technical – economical evaluation and comparation with conventional methods of finishing such as lapping, honing, superfinishing, polishing, grinding, core – drilling and reaming, boring work, diamond burnishing and shot peening is realised. In the conclusion of the work the assumptions for the future are given.
