Manifestations of High - Risk and Problematic Behaviour in School Praktice
ŽALOUDKOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis occupies theme of the Expressions of risk and disputable behavior in the school real-life. The theoretical part is consisted of five chapters to define risk and disputable behavior, description of individual selected behavior expressions in the school real-life, specification of school surrounding together with activity´s descriptions of individual workers operating at this school and in this field. In the theoretical part´s conclusion I describe the primary prevention and the significance and the practical utilization of the Individual educative plan. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis I used the qualitative type of research the half-structure technique done with educational consultants at the selected schools. The first aim of the bachelor thesis was find out what forms of cooperation with family and school care about the pupils (on which the risk behavior express) are used at the selected schools. The next aim was to find out whether is implemented the Individual educative plan by the pupils with risk behavior. I stood the research questions to find out what forms of cooperation with family are used by the prevention´s school team and how effectively is used the Individual educative plan in the frame of solution the pupils´ risk behavior. I contacted fifteen primary schools from South Bohemia Region, Vysočina Region and South Moravian Region to interviewed them. Only six primary schools responded to my request, three of them were from statutory cities and three of them were from small cities approximately the same size. The interviews were conducted with educational consultants of each school and they were focused at the cooperation between school and legal representatives. Furthermore in those interviews I focused at the issue of implementation the Individual educative plan and at the experiences gained during its realization. I found out by made research that mutual cooperation and dialogue between school and legal representatives is held only thorough basic communication tools. The respondents also mentioned these communication tools for their need as sufficient. Despite that from gained entries is obvious that the schools engaging insufficiently legal representatives into preventive strategies and school activities. I got the impression from the responses of the educational consultants, their responses are rather the cooperation system should work than it truly works in school reality. In view of this fact I decided to verify the interviews results by two chosen schools (small and big town) with additional interviews with professionals from OSPOD (Authority for the social and legal protection of children) and NZDM (Low-threshold treatment for children and youth) who have experiences with the problematic pupils chosen school. They confirmed, the legal representatives are not sufficient informed about the possibility prevention of risk behavior from position as a parent/legal representative. This shortage come from insufficient quantity of the contacts e.g. discussions or lectures for legal representatives organized by school. For the lack of information of legal representatives arise in family environment another troubles which have impact in school environment. They use the school´s Individual behavior plan only sporadic, saying they act the same way but without unnecessary paperwork and formalities. During implementation the Individual behavior plan is important to specify if there is another possibility to solve educational problem and if all copartners are able to cooperate together. If not, even the best prepared Individual behavior plan will not have effect. The results of my research should be used as a source for work with risky pupil´s group for both school prevent team and others teachers, mostly for class teachers confronted normally first with risky pupil's behavior.

In the first chapter I state the description of leisure time and terms connected with this. In the next chapter I devote to system of care for children and youth in the area of leisure activities in the Czech Republic. In the third part I define interests and their division. The following chapter deals with problems of exclusion, high-risk behaviour and its prevention. The last chapter defines sector of providers and recipients of leisure activities. For the qualitative survey I have chosen technique of interviews, which I have performed with personal staff from institutions providing leisure activities in the Pilsen region. Leisure activities help to children and youth to spend free time meaningfully. The aim of the research part of my bachelor thesis was to map institutions acting in the field of organisation of leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion in the Pilsen region. The research questions I have put in the way, that I would ascertain, if the supply of leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion in the Pilsen region is various and also, if supplied leisure activities for children and youth from groups threatened with social exclusion are financial available even for underprivileged families. For the purpose of the research I have addressed 47 institutions providing leisure activities for children and youth in the Pilsen region, from which only 11 have cooperated with me. From these I have chosen for the next cooperation the institutions, which organise leisure activities for children and young people from groups threatened with social exclusion. The majority of my respondents, specifically seven, are made up from houses for children and youth, I have cooperated with three institutions, which are directed to work with children and youth threatened with social exclusion, it's referring to Association of Romany civil initiatives AMARE, ČHAVE, Club Atom and the Children's home with school, primary school and school dining room Měcholupy. I have also cooperated with Centre of leisure time Pilsen. I have ascertained with the survey that the broadest supply of leisure activities in the Pilsen region is in big towns. From the survey follows that even in smaller towns is the supply of leisure activities, regarding number of interested persons, sufficient. Children have the biggest interest for motion and creative activities. The major part of interested persons for leisure activities are made up from girls and boys of younger school age, approximately from the second degree of primary school girls predominate. To promotion of the supply of leisure activities interviewed institutions use web pages and handbills, or they advertise in the press or in Facebook. The majority of them cooperate with school institutions and town cultural centres. Financial means can institutions gain from various sources, for example fees from participants, endowments, sponsors and own activity. Concerning financial availability of leisure activities, the financial aspect should not discourage in visit of the interest circle. The major part of activities can be replaced monthly, somewhere it is enabled to pay just visited lections. Some institutions provide leisure activities even quite free of charge, some can the fee in well-founded cases decrease or entirely forgive. Family can in well-founded cases apply by relevant social division for allowance on leisure activities for their children. Bachelor thesis can be source for providers of leisure activities for children and youth from groups singled out with social exclusion
Cooperation of Primary Schools and the Offices for Social-Legal Protection of Children
KUBIŠOVÁ, Lucie
The bachelor thesis deals with cooperation between primary schools and authorities of social and legal protection of children. Social and legal protection of children is provided to children whose parents fail to fulfil the obligations defined in parental responsibility or fail to pursue or abuse the rights defined in parental responsibility. Social and legal protection is also provided to children leading immoral or shiftless way of life or regularly escaping from their parents. The general notification obligation assigns schools to notify local authorities of communities with wide competences of fact that indicate that a child requires social and legal protection. The goal of the thesis is to find out how a primary school cooperates with a children social-law care department in relation to social pathologic behaviour in primary school children. Two research questions were set to reach the goal. I tried to find out in what way cooperation between primary schools and authorities of social and legal protection of children is conducted and whether primary school teachers and social workers consider the cooperation efficient, by means of semi -structured interviews with primary school teachers and with social workers. The data obtained this way were analysed by the open data coding method. The cooperation is based on mutual transfer of information on pupils with problems, reports and written assessment of pupil's behaviour and school result. Social workers and primary school teachers meet at consultation meetings and also at disciplinary boards and case conferences. School teachers and social workers consider their cooperation effective. Certain problems however occur in their cooperation. To make the cooperation more effective two teachers propose more frequent updating of laws and applicable regulations with regard to current needs of children and legislation modification. Social workers propose establishment of a multidisciplinary team, an increase of the number of social workers and presence of a lawyer at the children social-law protection department, education in social and legal protection of children for primary school teachers, and an Internet forum. The results of the thesis may be used for making the cooperation more efficient and for prevention of risky behaviour among primary school children.
