Analysis of mechanicaly stabilized earth wall on fine-grained subsoil
Střižík, Jakub ; Marek, Pavel (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
In the reinforced backings, the pulling capacity is transmitted by built-in reinforcements for which design it is necessary to determinate accurately this capacity. In the diploma thesis, there is the effect of subsoil stiffness and selected constitutional relation on the capacity transmitted by individual reinforcements by the method of parametric study monitored.

Present prospects and tendencies in the field of gateroads securing in coal mines
Šňupárek, Richard
The paper deals with methods of supporting and stabilisation of roadways in coal mines.New investigated and designed methods are connected with double usány of roadways, depth of exploration and environmental requests.Decisive kinds of support include methods of rock mass strenghtening e.g. bolting and grouting.
Failure character of coal geo-composites grouting resins base
Souček, Kamil ; Staš, Lubomír ; Obara, Y. ; Fukahori, D.
One of the possibilities of improving stability of longwall gates and roadway driven in coal seams in the application of a chemical grouting that will result in formation of a coal geocomposite in the surroudings of the underground roadway. The properties of such a coal geocomposite differ from the ones of the unmodified coal seam. The presented paper deals with laboratory geo-mechanical tests of pure coal and coal geo-composites prepared in laboratory. The paper discusses the different failure of these original and modified coal samples. The X-ray CT scans were used for observation and demonstration of failure evolution in these samples of pure coal and coal geo-composites.
Reinforcing grouting in coal seams
Souček, Kamil ; Šňupárek, Richard
Chemical grouting is very effective in coal mining. The paper summarises experience with chemical grouting for stabilisation and reinforcing of underground openings.
