This bachelor thesis aims to analyze the spatial differences in the occurrence of home lessness in Europe at the level of states. Based on data collected from The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Develepment, the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless and other sources, it analyses the number of homeless people in European countries. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the concept of home lessness and spatial differentiation. The analysis focuses on correlation with selected socioeco nomic indicators on the proportion of homelessness. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to inter pret the spatial distribution of the observed phenomenon and to identify the main determinants involved in the occurrence of homelessness. The synthetic part focuses mainly on the distri bution of the phenomenom under research in a regional concept in order to generalize the results and make it easier to recognize the regularity of homelessness.

The bachelor thesis deals with the spatial differentiation of the occurrence of prostitution in the world at the level of states. The number of prostitutes is based on the latest UN estimates. It is supplemented by other sources for the widest possible set of data. The analysis is focused on the comparison of prostitution rate with selected socioeconomic indicators by applying correlation coefficients to clarify the effects on the examined phenomenon. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the interpretation of differences and the spread of prostitution in the world. The synthetic part deals mainly with the distribution of prostitution in the macro-regional concept of the Earth in order to generalize the results and describe the main determinants of prostitution.
