This diploma thesis deals with regional education and teaching local region at elementary school. The theoretical part is also focused on the situation of regional education and teaching local region at elementary school and their inclusion into curricular documents. The thesis also includes geographical characteristics of Municipality with Extended Competence Pelhřimov. The practical part of the thesis is formed by teaching material, which is the main aim of the thesis. It consists of documentation of four school trips and includes introduction activities, which take place at school and their aim is to touch the topic in advance. The educational materials are intended for teachers and pupils of the 4th and 5th grade of elementary school. The practical part is made consistently with Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education.

The thesis entitled ?Trhovosvinensko - Utilisation of multimedia instruments in regional lessons in the 4th Grade in primary school? consists of two sections, the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical, scientific part, information is processed about the Trhovosvinensko microregion in the light of its physical geography and socioeconomics. The practical part, which is derived from the theoretical part, is a tutorial for teaching regional lessons in the 4th Grade in primary school. This is an interactive tool. It is created in the Smart Notebook program, which facilitates the curriculum being practised in an entertaining way on the interactive Smart board. The practical part is accompanied by a Teacher?s Handbook which guides teachers through this tutorial, simplifying its use.
