Demografic determinants of tourism and service development in the region of Třeboň

This thesis describes demografic determinants of tourism and service development in the region of Třeboň. The theoretical part deals with description of this region and its municipalities. It describes the main benefits of Třeboň and its surroundings - nature, fishpond cultivation and spa. The analytical part investigates the selected demografical determinants which influence the posibility of the tourism development in this region. The results of this research confirm the theory of regional development. The aim of this thesis is to focuse on the problematical parts in this region and propose new possibilities of tourism and service development.

Usage of grants for region development

The master thesis of this diploma paper deals with setting up the optimal package grants which will get better a life in chosen region and finding such recommendation for future development without grants as well. First part of diploma paper solved the analysis of usage grants in Náměšťsko´s region in point of historic method. Another part of this diploma paper was directed in the are of situation analysis. There is no doubt that the situation analysis´s effect offered both in a way very important information about profile and region´s description. Facts and results were very useful for SWOT analysis´s processing. Proposals of development for Náměšťsko´s region in point of optimal package grants were based on the results of SWOT analysis. The last part of diploma paper sorted out a propose of potential project in the area of environment. Náměšťsko´s region should prefer the grants especially in the area of infrastructure, economic power, people and environment.

The Potential Improvement of Selected Region

The bachelor thesis is focused in theme "The Potential Improvement of Selected (Pilsen) Region". The bachelor thesis is separated into two essential parts. The first part, theoretical summary, is focused to explain the essential problems of regional development and regional policy, both from the perspective of the Czech Republic and the view of the European Union. Also, the bachelor thesis mentions the notions which are closely related to the problems, which are occurred in the following sections of bachelor thesis. The second, practical part consists of the socio-economic analysis characterizing all relevant sectors, defining the dispositions of potential development in the region. In response to two previous sections the practical part ends by the proposal of the concept of regional development.

The thesis ``Tourism potentials and the possibilities of their next activation in South Bohemian-Austrian and South Bohemian-German border region{\crqq} aims to describe the present situation of tourism in South Bohemian frontier area, which has been developing especially after the borders with the Republic of Austria and the Federal Republic of Germany were opened in 1989 and after the Czech Republic acceded to the European Union in 2004. The thesis focuses, as the title suggests, particularly on the potentials and the gravitation of tourist attractions and presents the possibilities of their next development in the defined region.

Analysis of Expenditures of Municipalities in Relation to Priorities of Regional Development

The municipal outlays have practically permanent and continuous growing trend. It is not only connected with the growth of prices of raw material and power, but also with the continuous growth of price level of work and services, that the municipalities have to cover. The size of the outlays is also influenced by the extent of tasks that are entrusted into the hands of the individual municipalities by the law. The analysis of classification by kind shows that current expenses comprise 65% of total expenses. The biggest share of those expenses takes non-investment transfer payments to allowance organizations and purchase of water, fuel, power, services and other services. The analysis of classification by branch shows that among the expenses of the municipalities with the biggest importance count three branches, which cover 88% of the total expenses of municipalities. The analysis of dynamics of municipal outlays was made between 2001 and 2005. From 2001 to 2004 expenses increased in all items of the municipal budget. The exception was year 2005 when the current expenses decreased significantly. It was caused by the change of new education law, which radically change the method of financing of primary education.
