Reform of past participle agreement in French in the context of czech high schools

The bachelor's thesis "Reform of past participle agreement in French in the context of czech high schools" analyzes a specific grammatical rule in French in the context of its reform. The first part of the thesis provides a theoretical analysis of the past participle agreement with the direct object (in the case of conjugation with avoir), tracing its historical origins. This research also explores the ongoing debate within francophone society surrounding the proposition of some linguists to modify or eliminate this rule. Furthermore, the study investigates the implications of this reform in the context of teaching French as a foreign language in the Czech environment. The practical aspect of the thesis centers on teachers of French in high schools across the Czech Republic.
