The German EU presidency and its reception in the press

My thesis deals with the German EU presidency, which took place in the first part of 2007. Introductory theoretical chapters describe the general organizational structure of the EU and than evaluate the status of the presiding country as well as its tasks and duties. The core of the paper consists of an analysis of articles published in German press, which comment on key events of the German presidency. These articles compare the main priority spheres, on which Germany has paid attention according to its programme, with the real outcomes of the German presidency.
