The goal of this diploma thesis is to on a practical example, with use of the quality system, describe the current state of input casting inspection in Tribotec Ltd. and output casting inspection of casting suppliers in this company and to suggest a new way of output casting inspection on Tribotec Ltd. with higher quality of spoilage rate survey of supplying casting already at the input inspection stage.

The first part is a general description of the history and development management of quality. In the second part are identified maps of major and minor processes inside the organization. In the third part there is a proposal for a new documentation of beginning production process.

Design of increase in efficiency of machining of connecting rod

This diploma thesis deals with a machining process of the forging of connecting rod in the company SANBORN a.s mainly for reason to propose a more effective method of machining. The first part is focused on the analyse of actual process of production which is realized on several manufacturing machines. On second part are proposed the increases in efficiency of single machining operation and is used the modern multi - fuction machining centre OKUMA MULTUS which will increase the productivity and quality of machined part. In final part is applied for evaluation of machining and secondary production times and is performed the total financial analyse.

Stability of the production process of railway base plates.

The master’s thesis is focused on process monitoring using statistical process control SPC tools. It is designed as a guide for the implementation and use of control charts in the manufacturing process of the base plates, which would ultimately be conducive to improving and stabilizing the process. The theoretical parts are the basic attitudes and practices methodology of SPC, especially classical Shewhart control charts. The next section describes the current status in Strojírny Třinec, a.s. and the manufacturing process of the base plates. Followed by application of control charts for a given quality features and analysis using statistical software. Based on the evaluation are findings and recommendations for long-term monitoring of the defined quality features.

To find required information were used the company’s complaints database and it’s selected data were processed by efficient tools of statistical analysis. To make the input control more efficient were found solution on the base of recognized facto.

Quality management system for small organization

This diploma thesis deals with a quality management system of a small construction company. The aim is to analyse the existing baseline system and propose specific measures leading to compliance with the ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 standard specification. The first three chapters focus on general description and concepts of quality management systems. The next chapter identifies and maps the main processes in the studied construction company and proposes a new quality management system. The last chapter presents general guidelines for creation of management documentation.

Experimental network for QoS support testing

The work specifies problems with support of qualitative requirements in IP network services on the network and link layer. There are also described options of qualitative support of individual networking components in the UTKO laboratory (routers, L3 switches). Created experimental network is loaded by various types of service (VoIP, FTP, HTTP, Video). Data services realization is ensured by available terminals (IP phones, IP cameras, IP video-phones, servers, client stations). Metering is targeted on the manipulation with packets in the router. Options which Cisco router offers are verified by packet analysis. Available methods of dropping are compared on the base of metering and evaluated. Optimal handling with output queue after metering in experimental network is LLQ mechanism. It is able to prefer packets according to their priority in the IP header. Further the difference of link overloading by huge dataflow after QoS policy using is simulated. To reach availability of data services in the whole network is necessary to deal with mechanisms for qualitative services support in all the network components in the network.
