Vliv vápnění na chemismus pseudoglejů
Gacko, Roman
ABSTRACT Bachelor work is dealt with the influence of liming on the chemical properties of stagnosols. Introduction is considering their main properties and classification according to Taxonomic classification soil system of the Czech Republic. Also the way of exploitation and reclamation at present and in the past is described. Experimental work is aimed at the effect of liming in Stagnosol (Kameničky, Czech Republic). Obtained results indicated that liming of acidic soils under permanent grasslands leads to significant changes in soil chemical properties, nutrients availability and increasing of mineralization
Vliv melioračního vápnění a způsobu sklizně trvalých travních porostů na fyzikální a hydrofyzikální vlastnosti půdního typu pseudoglej.

Soil acidification associated with natural processes and neglect of maintenance liming has a negative impact not only on grassland productivity, but also on the soil's physical properties. Together with different methods of harvesting permanent grassland, the effects of amelioration liming on these properties were investigated. In a two-year experiment, changes in the values of physical and hydrophysical parameters were evaluated. These were determined from the sampling of soil samples in three periods (spring, summer, autumn). As a result, a positive effect of the application of dolomitic limestone at the dose of 3 t.ha-1 was found out to be increasing the soil reaction, reducing the bulk density, increasing the non-capillary porosity and increasing the minimum air capacity. In addition to the more stable structure, differences were observed among grassland management only in partial results. For example in non-limed variants was discovered the decrease of pH or increase in bulk density which was reduced as a result of mulching. There was as well confirmed positive effect of mulching on the increase of oxidizable carbon content or bulk density reduction.

This thesis deals with the changes of physical and hydrophysical property of haplic stagnosol in four different variants of a farmyard manure application. The experimental location is situated on the border between the cereal and the forage production area. Different amounts of the farmyard manure (0 t/ha, 15 t/ha, 30 t/ha, 45 t/ha) were applied on each variant. The soil probe was dug out. The soil profile was described using the KPZP Comprehensive Methogology (Souborná metodika KPZP, Němeček, 1967) and the soil samples were taken. Then the core samples were taken into the Kopecky's cylinders from the depth (the centre of the cylinders) of 15 cm and 27 cm in six periods. The loose samples were taken from the same depths as well. A decrease of bulk density of dried soil was identified in the variant with the highest application of the farmyard manure. A growth of porosity, a water-holding capacity and a capillary water capacity were identified on the variant with 45 t of the farmyard manure in 15 cm depth. The difference of the soil structure between the variants is not reflective because of the heterogeneity of haplic stagnosol.
