Working of the theme Adam and Eva at students of art-therapy
JEŽKOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the motif of Adam and Eve in the work of art therapy students. The aim of the thesis is to present the ways of processing Adam and Eve (watercolour) and at the same time to present the interpretive potential of this theme. The integrated research design assumes the mapping of watercolours with the theme of Adam and Eve. The aim of the quantitative part of the research is to identify common and possibly original ways of processing the theme. This part of the research is complemented by a qualitative part which consists of the interpretive potentials of the individual phases of the biblical story, the interactions between the characters and the less frequent processing of Adam and Eve in the art therapy assignment. The research thus includes a description, which is complemented by a possible explanation. The interpretation is only a possibility that can be offered to the client not a given fact. In the qualitative part of the research, semi-structured interviews with the authors of the selected artefacts will be analysed (why they captured this phase of the story, how they worked with the theme in their interpretations, etc.). The obtained data follow mainly on the presentation of the interpretive potential of the artistic representation of the theme of the biblical story - Adam and Eve in the context of art therapy work.
