Financial analysis of ABATIS

The objective of the thesis is to describe the financial aspects of a company, as well as areas, in which the company excels and then compare them to the overall indicators. The evaluated period is from 2006 to 2010. The structure of the bachelor thesis is divided into two sections. The first section is theoretical and explains the methods of a financial analysis and the procedure of data selection. The second section is practical -- the theory is being applied to a specific company. Methods being used are: horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indicators, work productivity, working capital, the Economic Value Added indicator and the overall indicators. The conclusion then contains a summary and a verdict about the financial health of the company.

This bachelor thesis is concerned with motivation of employees, describes factors, which can directly or indirectly influence workers and instigate them to efficient work. Theory engages with the definition of motivation term, and its importance, motivation progression and also describes concrete tools, which stimulate increase in employee's motivation. The practical part evaluates system of motivation and its effect in chosen company and also decides whether chosen methods succeeded.

First part of the thesis contains the theoretical base and are explained defines basic terms. The second part includes own work. Assessment of company was performed of the years 2008 ? 2010 and was assessed by indicators of the financial analysis.

Implementation of the BEDAUX System in a chosen Firm

The thesis is about implementation of Bedaux's system at company Laufen CZ, and its influence of company even from work productivity and cost viewpoints. In first part the Bedeux's system is teoretically described as base for practical part of the thesis. In practical part is described and later evaluated the process of implementation with the results even for workers and company. By using these results from practical part the recommendations are introduced to improve Bedeux's system in company. In final part the thesis is evaluated as complex.

3PL Contract Types Analysis

Based on analysis of a particular outsourcing warehousing contract held between global company and 3PL, this thesis has three goals: evaluate current contract compared to standard contractual requirements, evaluate the option of switching the outsourcing relationship from open book to closed book approach, and suggest solution that would use the potential of the provider most. Break event point analysis, labour productivity analysis and method of managerial decision making were used in this thesis. Closed book and open book approaches were analysed in original way using previously mentioned methods. The recommendation to the company is to keep current open book contract with implementing quality KPI's and performance-based outsourcing in accordance with vested outsourcing approach.

The significance of the public expenditures to economic growth and productivity of the economy.

The main aim of my work is to consider the impact of the public expenditures to economic growth and productivity of the economy. The first part is devoted to the theoretical knowledge, which are concern to this problems. In the second part, which is divided into sub-goals, such as trends in the public expenditures, economic growth, gross value added, the number of hours worked, gross fixed capital formation and productivity of labor and capital, is surveyed their development and the segmented by the sector. Data are obtained from the Czech Statistical Office, and then calculated the results by the statistical program Statistica.
